While teaching English to foreigners, I often get asked about the difference between 'I'm down' and 'I'm up for it.' To be honest, they're very similar, but 'I'm down' is a more casual way of expressing agreement, while 'I'm up for it' suggests a positive and eager attitude toward the proposed activity.

Why don't we go to Seike's home? - I'm down! I'm not good at cooking, but I tried making breakfast for my family and that made them happy. -You're girl boss! I wanna chat with Seike, but he is always ghosting so I'm fed up. Today is Seike's birthday. You go to the party with me? -Big bet. I'm not used to Japanese culture. -How about soft launch learning Japanese at school? Did you hear that Seike is gonna marry his childhood friend? -Wow, he's main character! Everyone around me knows that I'm seeing her. Someone must have tead! She does everything for his husband. She's a hardworking but simp. Seike broke an important promise with her. She is mean to him but he is extra. Red flag! You should stop smoking right away or you would be addicted!

Recently, I'm soft launching to study English."
