Great video, and something which I am now considering as the next step. Mine made 455bhp/634nm just with a Wagner 200 cell cat, ITG panel filter and map. I would like a charge cooler rad upgrade, Dorch stage 2 hpfp, and Pure800 turbo, to try and hit 600bhp on 99ron.

A/R stands for Area over Radius. It is defined as the inlet (or, for compressor housings, the discharge) cross-sectional area divided by the radius from the turbo centerline to the centroid of that area. Bigger AR equals less back pressure.. more lag.. but increased air mass.

So what you are saying is : it's mechanically impossible to make 600bhp on 99ron without significant changes to the design of the engine ? I'm not really a fan of meth as I daily drive mine, and don't want the hassle of filling another tank up.

I just ordered the GC+ for my 2015 535i here in the States. I’m FBO running direct port Meth. What you figure I could get on the GC+ with the direct port 50/50 Meth 93 octane? I know the B58 has some forged stuff lol. Thanks. Love the content.

No if you stay below 1000cc and use a progressive controller with cam adjustments

I'm interested on running a 91 Octane /95 RON tune with chargepipe meth injection, since in some parts.of Canada I can't find 93 octane consistently, do you think the TU HPFP would be enough to fulfill whatever turbo I go for or should I spring for a dorch/fuel it stage 1 or 2?

600hp as max on the b58? there are many people running around 700hp on a completely stock block and internals for a long time now.

@@NVMotorsportUK these numbers are still much to low. in germany we drive them with 102 octan (99 or 98 octan for you guys i cant really remember the correct conversion) with 700hp

Is ethanol available in the uk yet? I moved to Florida from Cheshire 4 years ago. A decent amount of petrol stations have E pumps over here. Running a stage 2 e30 map MHD stock turbo and hpfp and pushing 500bhp. 2018 440i gran coupe

Most B58 on latest SWFL make around 355bhp stock with dp.. so if they run 330whp on a dynojet.. the fixed transloss can be equivalent to 25hp.. if that is the case then you can add that to the tuned whp and get a more realistic figure of 455 bhp in UK.. this can be checksummed simply by finding the rpm at which it makes peak.. note the torque in nm.. multiply by the rpm divided by 5252👍🏾
