Great! Please what’s the best flaps deployment sequence during landing 1,5,15,25,30? Or 5,15,30,40? Which ones can be skipped? Thank you.

The flap position during Landing is dependent on the Airspeed...

For the 737-800 most operators use the following sequence: 1, 5, GD-15, 30 or 1, 5, GD-15, 25, 40. For a low drag approach a non-standard flap 2 can be useful to maintain 180KIAS. For Non SFP aircraft, flap 10 is useful for a little extra drag because the LE devices will go to full EXT even though flap 10 has the same manoeuvre speed as flap 5.

HI, thanks for this informative video. Are the flap actuator jack screw threads spaced consistently through the entire length ?

Extremely sorry for late reply.. the flap jack screw threads are spaced consistently. When we move the lever, jack screw nut moves and just stops when the selected position is reached...

dear Selvan, thanks a lot for your useful videos first, 2. I want to ask you something, are the spoilers open automatically during flap operation or you did open it manually in purpose?
@SelvanSelvaraj

Thank You... Hope you doing good. The Spoilers were Opened for doing maintenance. Even flaps were deployed for maintenance. There is no interconnection between Flaps and Spoilers in B737NG Aircraft...

@@SelvanSelvarajI knew this, but then I notice in two of your videos that the spoilers were open during operation and then closed directly after flap is up, so I wonder if there is any relationship. Ok thanks a lot
