- Eye Beans (Boiled) - 1/2 cup

📝 Summary:
1. Add water to a bowl and bring it to a simmer. Use a little less than 1 cup of water for 1 cup of rice flour. Add a pinch of salt. Close the lid and let it simmer.
2. Add 2-3 tsp of clarified butter (ghee) to the simmering water. Add 1/4 cup of jaggery and let it melt. Once melted, add the rice flour while stirring the mixture continuously. Reduce the stove to low flame. Add 1/2 tsp of crushed cardamom.
3. Close the lid and turn off the stove. Transfer the mixture into a different vessel and knead it into a dough, adding 1/2 cup of boiled eye beans. If the dough is too dry, sprinkle some water while kneading.
4. Spread some oil or clarified butter (ghee) on your palms. Take a small amount of dough, roll it into a ball, and optionally add a bit of leftover jaggery as a filling. Shape the dough into traditional kudumulu.
5. Prepare all the kudumulu similarly. Add 2 glasses of water to a steamer, let it simmer, and place an oiled plate with holes over the pan. Place the prepared kudumulu on the plate, cover with a lid, and steam for 15-20 minutes.
6. Check if the kudumulu are cooked by pressing with your finger. Once done, let them cool. Serve these delicious Babbera Kudumulu as a festive offering or snack!
