Moving with little ones is so much easier than with older kids. Once they start having friends, it becomes much more difficult, and once they’re teenagers, yikes! We’re a (retired now) Air Force family(in the US), and honestly, when the kids were little, the moves didn’t really phase them. Once our oldest daughter became a teenager, it became a real struggle.

It's so great how thoughtful people are about this! I can say that we will definitely be baptizing our children! Just like I'll give them water, food, and cuddles, I'll give them baptism. Why deprive your children of the good things they need!? I feel faith has moved away from sacraments and focused on making everything focused on intellectual, "conversion moments." Kids can grow up in a Christian family and grow with that faith as part of themselves, loving God as they are able in each stage of development. Besides, the Church was baptizing babies for well over a thousand years. I'll trust that wisdom passed down from the founders of the Church through the generations rather than think that we somehow only just managed to get it right in the modern age!

The winters are normally around -5 degrees - 10 degrees but can get down to -15 or colder. The north of Scotland is much colder, and southern UK has a much warmer summer. London is pretty hot all summer nowadays.

Ah the part about being a confident mother to set an example for your daughter almost had me in tears. I feel the same way because my mother struggled with her body imagine and it affected myself and my sister a lot. although she has apologized and we have all moved on from it. I know In my heart it must of been so difficult for her to realize she had been projecting that on us. A whole cycle of forgiveness that is much smoother done before children. Which opens another discussion of how we has women project our own insecurities onto other women. I’m from Vancouver island, and moved to Newfoundland and want to see Saskatoon so badly as I have family from there! So it’s so cool seeing a youtuber from Canada and from the prairies :) new follower now and so happy to have found your channel.

I also struggle with IBS and have actually found so many ways to combat the bloating and the discomfort. I discovered that removing dairy from my diet completely, and by that I mean not as an ingredient or anything (that includes whey protein and skim milk power that can be found in crackers) cut off any super bad symptoms. (Like extreme abdominal pain and what that leads to) From there I learned that tomato sauce, peppers and high amounts of garlic were also causing me discomfort and bloating so I cut that out to. I'm also supplementing with fiber and probiotics every morning which again has helped SO MUCH. It is definitely a process to learn what foods don't work for you but those are ones that are pretty typical for IBS. I was at my worst ever in August, but with this diet I am having almost all good days, only not so great days are when I slip up and have peppers in something by accident. Exclusionary diets are hard but it can help you gut heal so you can possibly eat those foods again. I had this about 4 years ago and cut out all dairy for 3 weeks, then introduced it back in as just butter and as an ingredient for a year and then was perfectly fine eating dairy again, in high quantities. (Then I got food poisoning and damaged my gut again so definitely be careful about possibly contaminated or expired foods) I hope this helps!! ❤❤

I gotta say, I really LOVE that you talk to openly and so casually about your Christianity and your faith. It's great to see :) Also for new Christian artists to try, I really love Steve Bell. I think he's actually from Manitoba, but I've seen him live here in Ontario once or twice when I was young. It's my go to casual relaxed music. It's often on in the background either when I have company over or when I'm puttering around the house :)

How you articulated knowing Zach was "the one" is exactly how I feel about my fiancé. Made me a little emotional to hear it put into words like that!

Love the date night idea, my husband's family call cheese and cracker boards a "bitsa" like "bitsa this and bitsa that"!

It looks SO big! I would never guess 1500 sq. ft. We just sold a little 1600 ranch style house and bought a 3000 sq. ft tri level and yours looks so much bigger. I bet it's those lovely tall ceilings and open plan.

Bloating can come from not being able to digest gluten well. I would absolutely try out for 2 weeks eating gluten free and then see if it is gone. I dealt with bloating for years and now it is gone.
