emorett with the sleep pod was so cute/funny. they should have put a second zipper hatch on the bottom or the other side and marketed it as something that could turn into a tent as your child got older.

Shark tank products are always a certain way. They’re like fixes for day to day problems, but a lot of the time the fix is too gimmicky, weirdly expensive, or even more impractical. However there are those products that are just 👌🏽*chefs kiss* Lmao omg when emorett called andrey by his first name 😂😭 you’re kids are so adorable

The hatch rest plus is our favorite!! Definitely worth buying! We have the settings to turn on 8pm, it a way to set a routine and let our girls know it’s bed time. I like that it can be child locked so they can just tap to turn it off. It also connects to your phone and is awesome.

I bought some of the goumikids sleepers and gowns for my babies and loved them. Their booties and mittens are the best, and we tried a lot. I definitely recommend them. Another brand we used for gowns and swaddles is Oliver and Rain, they have the absolute best gowns. Theyre really soft and they stretch with baby, plus the patterns are adorable.

I use the Babybumco Diaper Paddle Brush. It has a suction cup on the end and you dip into a diaper balm jar or squeeze onto the paddle. I love it for not having to get my hands in the cream and it's easy to apply it and clean it off the paddle. Definitely recommend! I have one for each baby.

Walmart has a little tent to use inside and I got it to use with a grandchild. It worked perfect for a blackout and give him that cozy place. I also got a toddler cot to put inside. This tent would not hold a crib. The tent was also inexpensive and so was the cot.

Thing I don't like about that 1st sleep suite is that the bottoms on the back will dig into the babies back when their lying down, I don't know if America has these but the UK the baby sleep suits have the snaps all around the inside of the legs XxX

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. That sleep pod seems stuffy and just doesn't have good ventilation. So that's just scary for small babies.

not sure on the sleep pod, I've always had the attitude kids need to be able to sleep anywhere day or night - growing up we never had drapes in bedrooms, we had lightweight curtains and shades, but they didn't make room totally dark. Also had no A/C so in summer the windows were open and we went to bed before it was dark, people would be mowing lawns, older kids still outside playing so we got use to sleeping with noise and when it wasn't dark. I think how you start your baby sleeping is going to be how they always want to sleep even as they get older which if they are only use to sleeping in room with black out - what happens when they go to sleep over or stay with family/friends who do not have black out curtains or when you travel. I've always let them sleep with whatever time of day the light was and with whatever noise was going on, vacuuming, tv, radio etc., or if windows open the outside noises. So for me a sleep pod darkening thing would be useless JMO

I think that slumber pod blackout tent thing would potentially be a bit of a safety hazard for a child of Emorett’s age, especially left unattended, it seemed very flimsy and floppy when he was playing in it, all these gadgets and things that they come out with now makes you wonder just how we ever managed without them all those years ago Lol 😂, there was nothing like that when I had my kiddos 43 years ago 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️. Some things they’ve got now I could see a great purpose for but some things I just think are a waste of money but if you’ve got the money then Why Not!!!!

I'm confused how that would even make it easier? I'm expecting my first, so I'm not well versed in baby clothes and what makes changes easier. Is that something that would even help?
@margaretdillinger5090

@@Serenov.a I just stated that it wasn’t a new thing with snaps in the back. Back before it was an actual flap you could unbutton or unsnap to fold down and pull the feet out and change the diaper. I learned to hate the modern ones that snapped from one ankle to the other ankle. Snapping them back in semi darkness was a pain. I used night gowns mostly that had a draw string on the bottom.
