My favorite Babymetal song is whichever one I'm listening to at the moment. I am definitely not the first person to say that. :) No matter Babymetal does, it turns out to be a gem. Even when they do stuff I wouldn't normally be too interested in, they pull me in anyway.

I agree. Also, I can honestly say that I LOVE every one of BABYMETAL's 45+ songs except for maybe 1 or 2 songs that I don't mind listening to still. I can't say that about any other artists that I have listened to through out my past 49 years.

💕 ⚡ / 🌅 That was the world premiere for this song. The concert was LEGEND - METAL GALAXY, on January 25th, 2020 at Makuhari Messe, Japan. Kami Band members were Takayoshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus on guitars, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums. They performed it a couple more times last month (March 15th & 16th) at Budokan with ISAO stepping in for Leda. I's great that they've moving forward and exploring what their "more adult kawaii" sound will be. One of the things I like the most about BABYMETAL, is that they are always pushing forward instead of just trying to recreate what they've already done.

I also couldn't agree more and can't say that about any other band in my 59 years on earth... 46 of them with a guitar in my hands. I love every song, and have listened to all of them hundreds, if not thousands of times since I started following them in 2012 after hearing Mikio speak of them in an interview. Their songs are so impeccably written and grab every one of the listener's emotions, each and every song is it's own work of art.

“Brand New Day” is a way different song than any of their other songs. It’s kinda polarizing, I’ve seen lots of people say they absolutely love it and it’s one of their favorite BABYMETAL songs. I’ve seen lots of people say they don’t like it at all and it’s their least favorite BABYMETAL song. When you make as many different kinds of songs like BABYMETAL does, this kind of thing is bound to happen. That’s why we all love them though, they’re so versatile and there is something out there for everyone. I personally love it, I think Su’s voice sounds so beautiful and hypnotic (like you said) in this song. It is relaxing and captivating, yet energetic and full of hope. It’s hard to explain. It’s very good. I’d say the closest thing they’ve done to this is, idek, maybe “Kagerou”? It’s not even that similar instrumentally but vocally it kinda is as it shows off Su’s more mature vocals and such. Give that one a listen sometime.

Honestly man, I've never really like any of tim Henson or polyphia's math metal, but when you put it with su's voice like that I've listened to it a thousand times already and love it everytime.

You could even say the same thing with Su's voice with the collab of Draganforce. Just piercing through the power of power metal. (Yes, this section of their releases are much more energetic and heavier :) ) Other than the metal aspect, this song reminds me of the anime Angel Beats!'s in-show band Girls' Dead Monster. Full of this type of energy while also being so mesmerizing due to the vocals of LiSa and Marina. If only I had started playing guitar when I was younger, I would be jamming out to almost everyone of their songs and feel real good while doing it

Thanks for the reactions, will wait for more :)

Great reaction. Guitars for this are by Tim Henson and Scott La Page from Polyphia, I think they are a prog band? This is very different to pretty much anything BABYMETAL have done before ... but maybe you should check out 'From Dusk Till Dawn'. It isn't anything like this, but maybe in some ways. I can't explain, you'd have to hear it and judge for yourself. It is so hard picking favourite BABYMETAL songs, for a lot of people it is the one they are listening to now. I think overall 'Shine' is my favourite from the third album, there is a live version from Legend M (Moa's 20th birthday shows) on the same channel as this was from.

I see what you mean by relaxing. It’s strange, the song has a very strong, syncopated rhythmic pattern, but at the same time It has a very steady, calm flow. This has been one of my surprise favourites on the album. It‘s one of the poppiest songs on there, but I love it. I especially like how much room it gives to Su‘s voice during the verses.

This was taken from my two favorite concerts. The giant screens and amazing stage were just awesome, every song they did over the two nights were about as close to perfection as possible, The latest concerts in the Budokan look like they might challenge it but I have only seen a few stills and promo clips of that so far but it looks like they went all out, I hope they put out a dvd for them. another very good song from this same show I would recommend is Night Night Burn.

I was going to say how much I love that gradual build-up at the start which always makes me think back to being in clubs watching the likes of Sasha or Digweed and waiting for that drop that they always made you wait for until you craved it...or the 300ft wide HD screen with its great imagery...or the silhouetted and smooth and sinuous choreography...or Su's beautiful, soaring vocals...or even what an astounding and outstanding performance and song this is...but you kinda summed up all that in the two words you used at 6:31. Concise AF! Lovely reaction. 🤘🦊🤘🦊
