Hey guys welcome back to the Foxhole! It's been a while, you look so different, i like the new haircut on her. Fans at Sabaton's Europe Tour and now at Asian Tour are enjoying this classic epic BM anthem in every live show. Hopefully one day you will too, they're going to the US with the Babyklok Tour along with Dethklok, after this Asian - Australia Tour and later they will come back to the Europe for another headline shows. You mentioned DragonForce, and actually the album version got the collaboration guitars of Herman Li and Sam Totman, and they're very good friends since a very long time, they help the girls to reach Download Festival and made some fun collabs live. Hope to see you soon with their new songs from the new album "The Other One". Pick any of their new singles, no copyright blocked issues so far. See you next time 🦊🤘🔥

I agree - for those of us who did not grow up with a concept of "kawaii", Babymetal is a great ambassador for this way of being - and I think you're not alone in having a good, and quite emotional reaction to them, especially with a song (and spectacle) like "Road of Resistance" - even at the smaller US venue where I saw them a few years ago, the crowd singing in unison - "Wo-o-o-oh, wo-o-o-oh..." with Su leading them - was downright stirring.

this is one of the best recorded live performances i've ever seen. tears well up during the last 3 minutes. their stage presence and su metal's control of her audience is incredible. if you go back and watch some of su metal's early work before baby metal you wonder how in just a few short years she became the queen. hard work and dedication paid off big time for her and the other girls.let's not forget the band too. exceptional musicianship. top notch all the way. i hope to see them live someday.

see now that's how you close out a show, what is super impressive is the tempo of the song and it's the last song they played that the band could still keep that tempo going after playing already for like what an hour or so before hand and make it sound like it's the first song of the set

I just saw them 9th July , a week ago in Sydney, crowd went nuts, sold out 5.5 thousand venue. The atmosphere was so electric, it was like the air was on fire. the US Kami Band were very good I have to admit. Musicly and mixwise , Shanti Shanti was a standout, and Su's vocals were impeccable. Age range of audience was 7 to 70. Now that's a demographic not many bands can claim. A fantastic night.. Thank you Babymetal , Kami Band and all BM staff for including Australia in the world tour. Hope to see you back here for next album tour.

Welcome back and thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 I am surprised that you did not react to this anthemic song until today. You are right. RoR has been played to unite people at venues, in many cases in the end-all as you saw. (I was united to The One 14 times to date 😄) The crowd involvement (mosh pit, call & response, chant etc.) occurs wherever they go on this planet. In your video, Su shouted some words at 11:12 meaning "Bring them on!". Fans analyzed that the provocative shout was thrown at people who had been ignoring, underrating, mocking, hating and even trying to discredit BABYMETAL. That shout may have been necessary in 2015 but not any longer. She shouted it rarely since then or she does it smilingly with her friendly voice now, which makes people happy.

The song was written by several people, but the guitar parts were co-written by the guitarists from Dragon Force. And they played on the original album recording. Though obviously the Kami Band played it at concerts.

Great reaction, thanks and welcome back. It's been a while! Don't worry, I believe that Herman Li and Sam Totman would be happy to hear that this one is a million times better than "Through the Fire and Flames" because they actually wrote the guitar arrangements and even played the guitars on the studio track. 😁 And yes, this is phenomenal and it's considered an epic final encore for an epic concert (New Year Fox Festival - Legend 2015). I'm so glad you noticed Su-metal putting the crowd chants on tempo again (they went too fast). She already was a seasoned performer at her 17. Having a click track IEM also helps. Until next time!

Road of Resistance: Live In Japan 🇯🇵 @"Saitama Super Arena (SSA):- "Road of Resistance" is a song by the Japanese Kawaii metal band Babymetal. The song was released worldwide as a digital single on February 1, 2015 by Toy's Factory, serving as the lead single off the international re-release of the album Babymetal, as well the opening track from Metal Resistance. Su-Metal was 10 when she performed with Karen Girls at the SSA (SAITAMA SUPER ARENA). The Arena that night holds about 20000 Babymetal fans but when you see the centrepiece Island and the two curve bridge, it can hold up to 30000 or even up to 40000 depends on the configuration of Babymetal concert for each tour they performed. This song is co-written by Dragonforce with Herman Li and Sam Totman plays the guitar 🎸 solos, but Kami Band live show is brutal and tight. This is a classic Power Metal genre or speed metal as some might refer to. Bands like Dragonforce, Helloween and even Sabaton do power metal genre. Arkadia from Metal Galaxy Album is the successor to Road Of Resistance. At 17 Su-Metal alongside Yuimetal and Moametal who is 15 at that time, gave a perfect 👌 performance on how live show should be. This performance alone cemented my love ❤️ and appreciation for Babymetal. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🤘🤘😍💕🌸🇯🇵🇸🇬#notacult. . Babymetal singles chronology:- •"Megitsune" (2013). •"Road of Resistance" (2015). •"Gimme Chocolate!!" (2015). Background and release:- "Road of Resistance" includes guest appearances by DragonForce guitarists Herman Li and Sam Totman. The song would be used to mark the beginning of the band's lore, Metal Resistance Episode III, at the concert held on November 8, 2014 at O2 Brixton Academy in London, which was also the final tour date for the band's Babymetal World Tour 2014. A trailer for the song was released on January 5, 2015, integrating footage from the debut performance of the song in London. The song was first released as a digital bonus track off the live album Live at Budokan: Red Night, with limited editions of the album containing a download card with a code to download the song at no additional charge. The song was later released as a dedicated digital single on the iTunes Store on February 1, 2015. Li and Totman are featured on guitars, although they are listed as featured artists in various regions of the re-release of the album Babymetal, on which the song appears as a bonus track, mainly in the United Kingdom. Composition:- Rolling Stone described the song as "power metal" with "shiny pop harmonies". Rock Sound called the song "everything we’d expect from [Babymetal] with a bit of Dragonforce’s exhilarating, flame-fingered guitar added in for good measure." Matt Evans of The List called the song an "empowering hyperspeed anthem". According to Kadokawa, the song consists of twin shred guitars courtesy of Li and Totman, with a dynamic sound derived of melodic speed metal. The lyrics are described as a narrative on the Metal Resistance, which the band adopted on their world tour. It has also been considered the "final stage" of Babymetal and the prologue to Metal Resistance, and a transition performance that demonstrates the band's growth from the previous album. According to Su-metal, the song refers to the Metal Resistance lore, described as "the story of Babymetal traveling across the world in the hopes of creating a new metal to unify the world as we break through the barriers of language and borders. In the middle of the song there is a part where we go, ‘Wow, Wow’ and this is where our fans from around the world can sing with us at our concerts. I hope people will listen to our album and support us at our shows." Yuimetal stated in an interview with Metal Hammer that "Road of Resistance" is her favorite song from Metal Resistance, explaining that it "has been performed at so many concerts, so a lot of memories are jam-packed. The lyrics are positive, the sound is so cool, and [the] dance is so powerful." •Recorded by Watametal and Adrian Breakspear. •Mixed by Ettore Rigotti Personnel:- •Suzuka Nakamoto (Su-metal) - Main vocals. •Yui Mizuno (Yuimetal) - Backing vocals. •Moa Kikuchi (Moametal) - Backing vocals. •Kei Kobayashi (Kobametal / Kxbxmetal / Kitsune of Metal God) - executive producer, lyrics. •Miki Watanabe (Mk-metal) - lyrics. •Norikazu Nakayama (Norimetal) - music. •Nobuaki Miyasaka (Mish-Mosh) - music, arrangement. •Sari Miyasaka (Mish-Mosh) - music, arrangement. •Keiji Kusama (Kyt-metal) - music. •Kyoto - arrangement. •Leda - bass (Kami Band) •Herman Li - guitar (courtesy of Electric Generation Recordings Ltd. and Warner Music Japan Inc.) •Sam Totman - guitar (courtesy of Electric Generation Recordings Ltd. and Warner Music Japan Inc.) Saitama Super Arena:- "Saitama Super Arena (さいたまスーパーアリーナ, Saitama Sūpā Arīna) is a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Chūō-ku, Saitama, Saitama Prefecture, Japan. It opened preliminarily on May 5, 2000, and then officially opened on September 1 of the same year. Its spectator capacity is 36,500 at maximum settings,[3] making it the second-largest indoor arena in the world. The main arena capacity is between 19,000 and 22,500". •Owner: Saitama Arena Corp. •Capacity: 36,500 (stadium setting) 18,000 (arena setting). The arena was designed by Dan Meis, who at the time was working for architecture firm Ellerbe Becket, together with Nikken Sekkei. Meis's design was selected as a result of an international design competition. The arena features a gigantic movable section of seating which can reduce capacity for smaller events and create a more intimate setting. It is a favorite venue for puroresu (Japanese professional wrestling) and mixed martial arts (MMA). It has also hosted other sports events such as boxing, basketball, volleyball, tennis, ice hockey, and gymnastics. It is the only Japanese arena equipped especially for American football. It formerly housed the John Lennon Museum, which displayed John Lennon memorabilia and closed in 2010. Ijime, Dame, Zettai live at Sonisphere 2014 is an amazing song. It what made the band break into the international world of metal! Then Babymetal Death Legend of 1997 is amazing. It’s not really lyrical, more instrumental and theatrical, but still an amazing show. It celebrates the birthday of SuMetal’s 16th birthday and her transition from a J-pop star into a metal goddess.

Nice timing on this one, I'm seeing Babymetal in Sydney on Friday night! Somewhat smaller venue (5.5K capacity) and I'm not sure if it's a sellout. Aussies are a bit slow to catch on to the burgeoning J-Rock scene, although I keep trying to introduce my mates to Lovebites and Band-Maid. 😅 Hopefully more of these bands will tour Down Under eventually. Anyway, great reaction. I'm blown away that a 17 year old can command a crowd of that size with a stare and hand gestures, that takes real nerve. Su's voice has matured considerably since then, and I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing her first hand. Cheers.

It is about forging your own road even where a road doesn't already exist, not necessarily going the easy way or following the path already made by somebody else, so if the way you want to go has never been trodden you may have to get past the resistance of the undergrowth, obstacles, hurdles and things blocking your way etc to find your own way.

Hmmm. Don't really know how to comment on this. Ok, let's start with the easy part. I really enjoy your channel and your reactions. No doubt about that. Keep on the great work. Now let's talk about Babymetal. At first pro's. This band definitely knows how to do it. The musicians are highly sklilled as far as i can judge this as a complete non musician. The girls and the band know how to put up a good show. Especially the singer has great charisma and is always completly in control of the crowd. I really honor the efforts they put in there work. But and now we'll come to the one and only contra. Music like this combined with a singer that sounds to me like my nephew on speed or to stay in aisa like Detective Conan with a swarm of hornets in his trouser puts shivers of horror down my spine. So enjoy them if you like but they're not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong. I'm not questioning her skills as a singer. I wouldn't dare to do that. But this voice and this music combined? No! Sorry! 😁

It doesn't work for everybody. I'm sure we all know many very talented artists who are clearly really good at what they do etc, but for some reason it doesn't work for us. Some I might think have something that is worth my while trying again to see if I can get past whatever it was that turned me off. That may or may not work. Some I did not like at all I will just not bother with again - I may or may not understand what others see in them, I just accept that they are just not for me. Personally I love the contrasts with BABYMETAL, it works for me - it is original, something new that I hadn't heard before that I didn't know I needed (and I had really had enough of the tuneless, angry, growling vocals in metal - it wasn't always like that). That's just me - I know for a lot of people it is too different, it is too far from what they are used to and feel safe with and those contrasts and combinations I love are exactly what they can't get past. Maybe it will click for you eventually, maybe it won't, no harm done either way.

But on Friday of the weekend, as soon as it was time to go, I said goodbye from my workplace and took the highway in the rain to the neighboring city of Matsumoto city to see today's Taipei Live of BABYMETAL in live viewing at the Aeon Cinema. I couldn't make a reservation in advance, but I was hoping to get a ticket on the day of the show, and it was easy enough to get it. Or rather, the seats were noticeably empty. I saw it in the front row against the screen. I had been at the back of the line at previous live shows and couldn't understand anything because I kept running in circles, haha. But this time it was kind of weird to have a seat and eat popcorn while seeing the show, lol. Well, it was great to see the faces of the three girls and everything so close up. Su- is very expressive. And everyone around me, has worn BM t-shirts, in other words, formal attires, but I was the only one in company work clothes, haha. The venue, Zep New Taipei, was a small hall. But it's nice to see well at that size. It was interesting to be able to see the back of Moa's nice shaped head on Megitsune, haha. Oh, yeah, Moa didn't say anything to Su- at the break of Megitsune. I thought she was going to say something like, 'Soup dumpling' (小籠包), ha. All 14 (maybe) songs were great and the ladies did them non stopping. Especially great MAYA, METALIZM, and Monochrome in the middle of the setlist. Setlist (it depends on my memory. So excuse me if I'm wrong) BMD, Megitsune, iine, Shanti×3, MAYA, METALIZM, Monochrome, BMC, Distortion, PAPAYA, GC, RoR, en. Metal Kingdom, IDZ Momoko was also very lively. It would be okay about her because of her much experiences as the Avenger.

They need to do more Momoko features I think now that she is official. As a fan across the pond, we still (5 years later) have Yui sadness and we don't really know too much about this Momoko chick (unless you dig pretty deep...then you end up in SG and..nobody should have to go down the SG road without warning). So..they need some behind the scenes footage of Momo and the girls doing normal stuff. We got used to Su, Moa and Yui hanging out, eating stuff together, chatting about life and all that casual stuff...if they don't do that with Momoko, she will always seem like an outlier. btw, any of the iconic Kami's in the band when they played (Boh, Takayoshi, etc?) or are they no longer part anymore?

@@robxsiq7744 Yes, in fact, since Momoko and Su & Moa did not spend the same time at Sakura Gakuin, so from me, a Japanese point of view, Momoko might see the two as seniors whom she looks up to. On the other hand, I would expect Su & Moa to see Momoko as their adorable junior from Sakura Gakuin. But there is nothing like any kind of evidences of such statements as far as I know, so in the future I would also like to see some kind of behind scenes Momoko and Su- & Moa do something like that. And also like to read interviews with all three of them together in magazines. Glass Moon Gaming recently featured some videos of Momoko, and while I didn't comment on them, I think it's great. As for Kami Band, I'll just say that the Western Kami Band has been appearing since Sabaton's tour in April, but the January revival shows were the Eastern. I wonder which one will be coming out for the shows from this summer and beyond. That kind of interest is fun, and both are great.

@@minamihideki7123 Exactly. Momoko doesn't have much of a past with Su and Moa outside of being in the general sphere..not in the same way Yui did...so its time to build a present, and not just singing and dancing, but..hell, some b-footage showing them going bowling or just casual crap like that is fine. For all we know, they may hate each other and never speak to one another *shrugs*...so yeah, to build a band, you need the personal touch. Otherwise, you might as well not bother calling her the 3rd. Go to Amuse HQ and knock on their door. Tell them all this. The internet demands it :P

And trust me, when the Queen want you to do a Circle of Death or singing along people will do that ( i was one of them 🤣) Now the girls with the new official member are on world tour, if you have the chance go to attend one concert you really need to do that 😁 Not sure if i can wait to see them again in December 😆 And you need to check Lovebites 2.0 Babymeta is not a Cult 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰

@@user4574-METAL No, in the Saitama S.A.. They closed with that song. On the first night of the Tokyo Dome they opened with this song. Everything that is Tokyo Dome is blocked, this video has different shots to get past the blockade, but the important thing is that the audio is that of the Tokyo Dome kzitem.info/news/bejne/xKmIz3uwmKN-ppwsi=MhTHwpaylrp6LtGF

I’ve got the Tokyo Dome Red Night and Black Night concerts. While the sound and camera work are better for those concerts, I like the ‘tongue’ stage setup here better for this song.

This was my first BM video I saw about a year ago, and I thought it was such a cool power anime song. I've since learned that they are much more than that. Currently weighing if I should fly and take days off to see one of their US shows in the fall.

I believe DragonForce had a significant role in writing and even performing this song. I came across a video of the guitarist for that band reacting to another BM song where he mentions his role in the making of this song.

Co-written with Dragon-force! Totally EPIC! SuMetal was 16, and already a seasoned professional. Moa and Yui were 14 or 15 depending on when in the year this was… Amazing… They totally OWNED the crowd! ❤❤🤟🏻🤟🏻 20,000 I believe.

Close, Su had just turned 17. Moa and Yui were 15. Exact numbers are hard to find for this show. I've heard 20k 25/26k.... The venue can hold 36,500 or something (depending on the stage layout).
