I thought it was sad that this video only had 8 comments, so I just wrote mine and made it 9. I wrote this in past tense, because I knew that people will see this on 1, 5 or even 10 years from this day. I wish good luck to those who are listening to this masterpiece. Thank you, good bye.

In my humble opinion, it can be very usefull for somebody who learns to compose music. You should try with Brahms, Mahler, Brückner not easy to understand at once. Maybe you found the God's tempo ? Who knows ? Good research !

Such beautiful harmonies, slowing this down to such a pace makes one appreciate them to their fullest, also a fresh approach once you've heard it so many times in pop culture...

I recommend listening to this if you’re in pain or anxious. I listened to it while having a bone marrow biopsy-never felt a thing. Even when they told me “this will hurt”. I finally asked when they were going to price and was told they were finished.

Wow. This is amazing! I’m curious how you managed to keep the audio quality so well. I’ve tried myself to slow down several pieces (because I think nowadays 98% of the performances are way too fast), but even at half speed the audio quality gets really bad. What’s your secret? 😀😜

Its not a slow down in the usual sense, it is stretched
@dirkkoomans7771

@@classicalmusicsloweddown Yes, that's what I actually meant. Only slowing down also lowers the pitch. But the time stretch in my system isn't nearly as good as yours. What do you use?

@@williamlewis4318 in a multiple person string group, you can stagger the bow direction changes between the persons. (And, although difficult, wind instruments can use circular breathing techniques. Percussion and percussive sounds on string instruments though cannot be extended in this way.)
@jarrahtree5130

@@km6206 You're both right. While yes, you could definitely play this piece at this tempo with some work arounds and make it sound even. The piece also would not sound nearly as dreamy, and would be immensely difficult to accurately phrase at such a slow speed, requiring far too much nuance and control to be practical.
