This made my eyes tear up. You played the piece so beautifully! I only discovered this song a few days ago and found the sheet music for it. Today is day one. Oh my! I am so touched to hear this from you. This piece is very beautiful, but also challenging! However once you keep repeating it over and over again you will start to see that it's quite mechanical to play with both hands in the end. Keeping up the rhythm is the key! Atleast this is what I think. And thank you for your kind words, you made my day. I love to read and comment to my viewers! These kind of comments warms my heart. Glad to hear also that you have been getting back to play the piano! You will be able to play this piece in no time if you just keep learning. Don't get unmotivated! Best regards, Sam

Actually it is meant to be played fast as it is a piece inspired by Bach's Prelude and Fugue No. 2 in C Minor BWV 847.
@Samthewise

@@thelittlegamer6209 Hey, over 2 year old comment here that I haven't noticed :D. Let me express my feelings about this! In this video indeed I played the piece in a slower tempo and added some nuances to it to express my feelings better during my play. Original piece which you mentioned (Prelude and Fugue in C minor, BWV 847 by Bach) is indeed played in a very fast tempo. The fast tempo was adapted by Luo Ni into her composition also. However, I feel like this musical piece that I played here (Bach in G Minor arranged by Luo Ni) has so much more potential to be even more beautiful which it is already. Personally speaking, my opinion is that it should be played just tiny bit slower in order to emphasize and stress these nuances to make the song bloom in it's best! I have listened to many different compositions from this song and I have noticed that people are divided with this topic that should it be played in a fast tempo as in original or in a slower tempo. Everybody has their opinions of course, but as long as the pianist himself/herself appreciates and honors the original compositors while playing the musical piece then everything falls into harmony, and the pianist deserves appreciation from the listeners for their dedicated effort in bringing the composition to life.

No problem! It's trial and error and requires lots of lots of repetitions until the end everything locks into place. It's very mechanical technically speaking, so the hardest part in the end will be to add the feeling to it. In this video I played the piece in a slower tempo and added some nuances to it to express my feelings during my play. Original piece is Prelude and Fugue in C minor, BWV 847 by Bach. If you listen to it you notice the fast tempo which was used in Luo Ni's composition also. However, I feel like this musical piece that I played here (Bach in G Minor arranged by Luo Ni) has so much potential to be beautiful which it is already. Personally speaking, my opinion is that it should be played just tiny bit slower in order to emphasize and stress these nuances.

Flute is an awesome instrument too! I bet if you start practicing piano, you will catch up quickly. This took me 1 year to play this well, I have played it thousands of times again and again. Took me a lot of effort, but I got there eventually :D. I was on-job-learning at Germany when I heard this piece, and I was so dedicated to learn it. Once I got back to my home country Finland I started practicing and here I am! If you are dissatisfied while playing flute, then I recommend searching another instrument to play. Sure there can be times when you don't feel motivated to play it, but if you actually dislike it then go for something else! There is so many instruments out there, go find the right one :D. Piano / Church Organ is the best instrument if you master it in my opinion.

@Samthewise
2 жыл бұрын
Hey! Assuming you mean the original prelude from BWV 847 in C minor made by Bach, it's on an another level compared to this piece I just played. The tempo and technical parts on the original composition are just way harder. I am in no way a professional pianist and I just play for my own interest. But since you asked about my personal opinion about the difficulty difference comparing these two. I will tell you: I'd say from scale 1 to 10, the piece I played would be a 5,5. And the Original Bach composition.. I'd say it's an 8. If you have any more questions, please ask! I am glad to answer any questions~ Best regards, Sami

@Samthewise
3 жыл бұрын
First of all, thank you for the comment. You should take in consideration that this version of Prelude has been composed by Luo Ni simply out of respect and sheer admiration of Bach's talent. I am a fan of Bach and of his works, they are far too challening for me to play. Regarding that fact I am happy to get to play something way less easier and still be able to perform a little bit like Bach! On that note I personally and many others love this specific composition made by Luo Ni inspired from Bach. Too bad you don't have the same feelings. I find it a little bit disrespectful though from you to lash out here about your negative feelings about the fact that someone has taken their precious time to first compose this beautiful piece from sheer admitation from the J.S. Bach - Prelude BWV 847 and then playing it. What you should do is respect and be inspired from it. - Sam
