Wonderful as always. Erudite, full of love, eager to share his insights with the public. And yet such humility and graciousness. How blessed we are to have him especially in such an intimate one-on-one virtual setting. 👍❤️

Sir Andras Schiff is one of the greatest musicians alive today, not only for his extensive knowledge of Bach's music, but for his musical vision in general ,and his enormous ability to appreciate the beauty of art. I agree with him in saying that Bach is the greatest composer who ever lived. Thank you for sharing this extraordinary video.

I listened to and enjoyed Bach without understanding much of his music. However, the more I learn about it, the more I love his compositions. I am very grateful to András Schiff for making some of his knowledge available to the public.

Because in this life just a few things could be called as timeless, bach music is transcendent, why? Because it has passed so long time and new generations still being touched by his music, and it would take more than an entire life to know all his works there so many an they all are too good to be true, but it is true thanks Bach

That's exactly the point, my dear: The music of J.S. Bach is that much perfect and divine to my ears and soul, that I never get tired of playing even only two bars for 3 times half an hour each day and this for 6 weeks in a row. So I play his music over and over and over again, and feel myself evolve into this eternal realm of beauty and perfection. J.S. Bach's music can become a way of life. It certainly has become mine.
