What does KL look like? it's like Singapore + Bangkok mixed together with a complicated road system & flyover similar in China. Kuala Lumpur's road system is similar to Japan & China with many flyovers. Malaysia's flyover & highway is the most complicated in Southeast Asia it is cleaner, modern & organized than bangkok, singapore is cleaner, but KL is bigger than singapore city center, basically what Singapore offers you can now be found in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, & one advantage, the price in Malaysia is cheaper than Singapore but the significant difference between Kuala Lumpur and other Southeast Asian cities is at night. Kuala Lumpur is lively with neon lights

Hi Danny. I follow your channel every now and then. I am now in KL for the third time in 1.5 years. This city keeps bringing me back. I am an early retiree from Amsterdam. I am discovering whether I can live permanently in KL. I also visited Bangkok for two months. But all in all I would choose KL for several reasons. 1 The quality and affordability of the apartments. Such as a gym, a washing machine, iron, swimming pool, maintenance of the complex. 2 KL is modern and spacious with very lush greenery. I enjoy the scent of the plants. 3 KL is multicultural. I don't feel like a stranger here. Everyone treats each other with respect, despite different beliefs. KL is relaxed. Only rush our between lunchtime and evening rush hour is the city really busy. 4 The air quality is better than many Asian cities. You don't have to wear a mask like in Bangkok.5 Most people speak or understand a word of English. 6 The language is easier for a Westerner to learn than Thai.6 It is extremely safe. Of course you also have to use your common sense in KL. 7 People are generally nice and helpful.8 Health care is one of the best in the world. I feel completely zen in KL. It is an excellent place to live to look for adventure from there to other places. Tip. Take a look around KL a little further from the center and the famous tourist spots. Take the red LRT line to Subang Jaya. It is not as flashy as KLCC but very authentic Malay. Beautiful rustic houses and streets. A nice center just like Bangsar. Or go name Mont Kiala center or Publika . There is so much to discover in KL outside the center Danny . Keep up the good information content. regards

KL City Hall has been investing alot in landscaping, parks and rebuilding walkways that makes KL more walkable and liveable. Also the skyline is building up pretty nicely. The new MRT2 up to Putrajaya just opened, making travelling around the major satellite townships easier with its rail network. Next year the new LRT3 line opens making it easier to fo to Shah Alam and Klang cities . You can rent nice and cheaper condos in the outskirts of KL yet can easily get to the city centre via LRT/MRT.

Great video Dany, thanks for sharing..👍 If Singapore is good for working and Thailand is good for touring and partying.. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 🇲🇾 has all the above and plus we have the Petronas KLCC Twin Towers the tallest twin towers in the world since 1998, PNB Merdeka 118 the second tallest in the world plus some other beautiful and humble skyscrapers.. Kuala Lumpur has the biggest roundabout in the world too,.. 😊 Kuala Lumpur is a city of contrast.. with old and modern concrete jungles blended with green landscapes, flora and fauna.. A melting pot of Asian cultures and foods etc.. We're one of commonwealth countries, English is our second language, our international passport ranking #12, thus it's easy for communication, and KL is definitely a safe and peaceful place on earth to live in.. Please explore more Kuala Lumpur and other cities or states in West and East Malaysia..you will definitely going to love it,. Malaysia is truly Asia 👍🇲🇾❤️✌️

I was staying in KL for about three weeks, and I was actually in the same hotel as you. I didn't really like it. It reminded me a little bit of Europe but with a cold vibe. April coincides with the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan until around the end of the 3rd week, and at the beginning of its 4th week the malays would be celebrating _hari raya aidilfitri_ for 1 month. During Ramadan, there would be Ramadan bazaars set up everywhere in the country, that's a good time and place to sample local traditional malay delicacies, some of which may not or can rarely be found outside of the month. Non Muslims and tourists are welcome to these bazaars. However, since it would be the fasting month for the locals, everyone would be kindly expected to show a bit of respect by not displaying too much skin (a simple casual dressing is all, nothing too strict of a requirement) and not openly displaying too much emotion ie. overly keen on gobbling the food and gulping the drinks (I know, all the food is delicious right haha!) Anyway, _selamat datang_ to malaysia when you arrive in April! 👍
