Welcome to the THIRD episode of my HARDER TO KILL series where I share with you my journey to be a better man for myself, my family, my community, my culture and yep for my country. That involves me being the best version of myself and that means being harder to kill.
In this series I will be focusing on all the things that I think it takes for a person to be harder to kill. This will mean a variety of things which range from fire arms, to hand to hand combat to having common sense. Being harder to kill is the goal and I want to share my journey with you.
Growing up I studied Judo, Boxing, Karate, and Taekwondo briefly before Football became life. In 2002 I moved to the Washington DC metro area. From 2008-2012 I studied under Master Lloyd Irvin and competed in Brazillian Jiu Jitsu before becoming a fulltime photographer in mid 2012. As the years went by my focus transitioned from my own personal journey to focusing solely on what truly mattered which is my children so training took a backseat. I 100% know I sucked on my training in this video but I am so excited about relearning and getting better. Some of these things that I will pursue in an effort to be better will be a refresher course for me and some things I will be new to but whether new or old I plan to commit myself physically, mentally, and financially.
So lets get to it!
In this episode I linked up with Jacksonville, Florida USCC fire arms instructor Eric B. for some one on one drills that everyone with a conceal carry permit should be familiar with. We also worked on zeroing my Holoson 407 red dot on my Glock 19 Gen 4.
