I live in Alberta Canada. I do not like cold weather, and my city in the winter time can gets as cold as -50 Celsius (-58 Fahrenheit), usually though the coldest is -35 (-31 Fahrenheit). Needless to say I don't play in the cold, so that's roughly 4-5 months of off season for me (WHICH SUCKS). I do know people who will play year round, regardless of the conditions.

Nah you can definitely count an ace during a round where you are throwing multiple shots off the tee as long as you’re keeping score and playing off of your first throw and the ace is with your first throw.

Question: I have two legit aces on my first shot off the tee box. One of them was in a tournament. BUT I have a third ace if you count one where in a casual round we did the “two off the first” rule and I aced on my second shot off the first tee, so it counted on the scorecard. Is this an ace or no? I lean no, but it still kinda feels like one because it counted in the round.
@Zipoqs

Thanks for starting off with my story Hunt! And acing 1st hole is only cool bc then the other 17 you are chasing having 2 aces in 1 round otherwise yeah acing 1 stinks. Acing 18 is sweet bc you get in the car with the heart thumping still

Dudes,… I aced hole 5 at Jim Barnett park in Winchester, VA. I had joined a random other guy at hole 3, or else I would’ve been alone. The stranger took a picture of me pulling my disc out of the basket then asked me for my number to send me the picture. So I didn’t have a finger up claiming an ace. I did however tell my buddies about it and used that picture as evidence that I did, in fact, have a witness!!! Am I wrong for doing so?????

No joke, I aced on the fourth hole of my first tournament. I was winning at that point and proceeded to go 5 over the next three holes and totally negated my good start. I finished under par but 8th place that day. I learned you need to turn off all good shots just like bad shots and okay shots. I was way too juiced to keep composure. It is cool to see that official 1 on my first PDGA round but I’d rather have the dub! Cheers all!

How about accidental aces? Example : Hole 12 at McCord (ask Brodie). Water is 5 feet behind the basket, nobody is running this basket. I aced it while trying to park it. If it missed the basket it would have been on the other side of the creek. Another example is off a tree into the basket. Are those legit aces?

I have aced hole 1 in a league. It was electric. I had the whole rest of the round living in that high. I didn't play amazing from there. Acing hole 18 was amazing because I got to go home on that high. In a tournament when I aced like hole 14 I got my first bogey on the next hole. Hunter "pressure" is the wrong word. After an ace you just feel a high. It's not pressure.
