Great video dude. Converting is probably my favourite aspect of the hobby, I think nearly every model I own is converted in some way or another. Thank goodness its mainly plastics now.

Awesome episode, my incredibly talented friend! I absolutely love converting! My conversions that I did to create Bran Redmaw, my favorite Space Wolves HQ choice, was so much fun and probably my favorite piece to date, so I love that you covered converting to create a model that cannot be easily obtained and characters/profiles/items for which there are no models for! Great topic and well covered! ~ Wolf-brother Methos

Remember the Warlock conversions. Always thought they were very cool. Each one was different. You even made a female one if remembering correctly. When 3rd edition codex came out for Dark Eldar. New units had no kits on the shelves, nor did the HQ choices. There were a lot of nicely converted DE HQs made by people out there. I had scratch built the Cronos out of Eldar heavy weapon and Gargoyle bits. Converted Grotesque from Fantasy Minotaurs. Venoms were two old Vipers with the side armor from the Ravagers. Latter took the side armors off once realized the profile was almost twice the size of normal Venom.

The best way to customise a model imo is to match parts carefully and try your best to make it looks realistic, no crazy poses and impossible arm rotations etc.
@IDICBeer

Indeed, it has to look realistic

I love the IDICBeer logo on the warlock. I always wanted to see your flyer up close. Thanks. Looks better up close. Your video got me thinking... my entire Conversion Corner series is about inspiring others to jump into conversions but I don't think I ever mentioned that in any of my videos. I think I'll have to do a special intro video for that series and add a standard intro to each video. Good work on this.

A dual wielding Avatar of Khaine? I know Wailing Doom and Bloody Hand of Khaine is a lore thing but I think it'd look badass. Or one with a two handed Wailing Doom? Where he's gripping it with both hands and blood is running down and dripping off the sword from where his left hand holds it? Anyways great video. I didn't realize how simple a conversion could be. Also I'm planning on putting some Lychguard together today. Anything you'd recommend? Also I couldn't find plastic glue and want to just get on with it... do you think modelling cement would work for something I don't want to fall apart? Everything I've super glued back together has fallen back apart so I'm hesitant about it.

Ha ha those ideas sound great, I have a magnetising tutorial Lychguard, that might help, here is a link kzitem.info/news/bejne/qq-E1aytoJmIfKw . Iv'e never use modelling cement tbh, so not sure
