I get a real buzz when I see you have a new post. I've only fished a handful of times in the last ten or so years but I love folk like you doing it in the right way!

Watching your videos always makes me want to go fishing and your Mrs has got to be the best angling wife in the world and I mean that in the best way. I wish I could get my Mrs to travel with me and have a go at fishing and maybe understand or feel what it's like to catch a whacker 😂. Just keep em coming mate. 👍

Hi Steve cracking video.. do u use any liquids with ur boilies or is it just straight out the bag.

@stevebriggs4638 what baits were you using Steve think I saw nash scopex squid what was the other one
@stevebriggs4638
Жыл бұрын
It’s all explained in the video really, the Scopex Squid was the pellets but the boilies were a new test bait from Nash not on the market just yet and hasn’t even got a name yet.

Hello mate, could you help me gauge what heavy waiting would be for 48-72h session on a lake like this? Would 20kgs trickled over the period be overkill?
@stevebriggs4638
Жыл бұрын
So much depends on the lake, the stock and the situation at the time. This time I used more than 20kg in two days but I only do it if it feels right for the time.

Great video again, you do so well on bottom baits but just out of interest does anyone fish fish zigs or surface baits on these continental waters i never hear of it.
@stevebriggs4638
Жыл бұрын
It’s a good point but those styles rarely come in to play on waters abroad. I’ve caught fish on zigs at places like Rainbow and Raduta but they were in the minority and they just don’t seem to get on top so much abroad as they do here. I like surface fishing but I’m trying to think of one I’ve caught outside of uk and I don’t think I have?! I just catch enough on the bottom I guess?!
