Love the irreverence and humor. But at the same time, you take serious issues seriously. Great balance! I'm in training to be an operator, and also about to start an ASE diesel mechanic course. I want to own my own equipment, which means I want to fix it also. Our instructor uses some of your vids in our training. Keep up the great work!

Not sure I have the answer to that one. I think it depends on what career path you are thinking of taking. Maybe someone else will have insight to share?

If you want to compete a diesel fitter trade here in Australia apply for an apprenticeship that way you can obtain the certificate 3 in diesel fitting and then you can study the advanced trade. Unfortunately here in Australia we do y have trade schools like America where you can go and learn a trade. You have to find an employer to take you on and then go to tafe whilst working. Hope that helps

do you think I need to already have been "working on engines all my life," in order to pursue education in diesel technology/mechanics. Im interested in going into the field after making a switch from social work. Thanks for posting this video

Hey Ryan - totally don't think you need to have any experience with engines to go in to this career path. There are great schools and programs out there (such as NDSCS) that can absolutely teach you everything you need to know. Depending on what city you are in, we can help connect you with a Komatsu Dealer if you wanted to learn more about the programs they offer. Thanks! Randy
