That Xbox Rally game was very, very touching. 💜 Harleyfractic giggled and said, "That was my third tooth!" And now, both top front teeth are gone. We have 3 videos to shoot (including the one we have been dragging our summer feet on...) but more to come! I once sent a fax to a specific office to make sure I got a phone call back from them since they were avoiding calling me. From my Mac, I sent a 500 page copy (of the same 1 page letter). Their office floor had a pile of paper and They DEFINITELY called me back. Mission accomplished. 😎 Like a BOSS, baby!

Fun fact: One driving factor boosting the popularity of the Intellivision was the scarcity of the Atari 2600 VCS at Christmas time. It's how we got ours, and by the time Christmas came around again we did get an Atari, and we loved them both.

I live just about 2 1/2 hours away from Fort Ticonderoga (where we defeated the English during the War for Independence). I took a tour a few summers ago of the fortress overlooking the town, and as we were driving away, I noticed a building with a sign that said Star Trek. I didn’t bother to stop, because my wife and daughter were in the car with me. I looked it up later and I found out that there’s like a whole Star Trek recreation there. It would be fun to go this summer and meet Bill Shatner. It’s only 2 1/2 hours away. Thanks for the heads up.

There’s a story about the rewinding with pencils thing - someone made a great video about it. We could, of course, rewind our tapes with our UK (and US) pencils, but we had to put them in at a slight angle to get traction (or use my preferred and much more fun, and faster, method of twirling/spinning the tape around the pencil without holding on to the tape - just make sure to slowdown towards the end! This is handy if you’re halfway through the tape and have something else in your player. Was surprised you didn’t demonstrate this!). But anyway - although OUR pencils don’t quite fit properly - the ones in the country of the people that printed the manuals illustrating the use of a pencil to rewind some slack tape - did fit. Pencils from Japan! :)
