George, like how you have embraced the FastFerment. I have had mine a year now and although I had some start up issues (hint:Follow directions) I like it a lot. Just remember to not over tighten any of the threads. Great video.

Great video! I really enjoy your channel and have learned so much. Favorite videos so far are George Washington whiskey, sake, and extracting essential oils.

Hi George, I have access to quantities of whey. My question is, is it possible to make beer from whey? Maybe one can even distill it further. I belive the scandinavian vikings used to make a beer. Many thanks for sharing your wisdom with us.

In your " Back to basics of making Beer 2nd part" when you added your yeast your fermenter was cool to the touch; in fact you said it was a bit cold. My question is, how is your yeast supposed to activate when the mixture is cool. I always thought that the temperature of the mixture had to be around 90-105° so the yeast will activate.

When it warms up the yeast will activate. For beer it is around 68-74.
