LOL yeah... crazy prices! But once again... I think that in time to time the designers do things like this 4x4, the same thing happens to me with the FERRARI 308 from Magnum P.I., I mean, the most beautiful 4x4 is this one (TOYOTA PICK UP SR5 1985) and the most beautiful Ferrari is from Magnun. Those cars are poetry in motion man. :) Not like the cars of this days, bigs and the ugliest.

Notice how in the first movie, the roll bar in Marty’s truck has a single bar design. And in the 2nd and 3rd movies, it has a double bar design.

I have a theory that the first and second/third movies are in slightly different parallel timelines. Most events are the same, but a few small things are different - Jennifer looks like another actress, the truck has different details, Marty now has an aversion to the word "chicken" that was never brought up before, and other little things that give it away. Perhaps someone else has been messing around with the timeline.

@@codyerickson3550 Had a 22-RE in a 1993 2wd/5 speed reg cab truck. That thing had great off idle torque, didn't feel like a dog in that truck. It would hold 80-90mph no problem, felt like it was loafing along at 70-75mph, did 26mpg at 70mph. IMO felt quicker than my 2004 Tacoma 2wd/reg cab/5 speed with the 2RZ-FE, that thing was gutless at low rpm. Revved that 2004 Tacoma out a bit it was faster, but man it felt like you had to drive it like you hated it if you towed anything behind it, even a 1500-2000lb uhaul trailer like I did a few times.

Lol there’s no way a hilux could’ve reverse that fast. With a 22re or 22r. I wonder if they engine swapped it or put a huge gear ratio on the reverse gear. You aren’t pulling a burnout in reverse with all terrains in one of these lol. Amazing truck though, probably the best truck ever made

American film, American model. This is just a Toyota Pickup SR5 Grade. This isn’t the down under and we don’t call them “Hilux” here. So, let me fix it: “Back To The Future - 1985 Toyota Pickup SR5 4X4” Thanks, MATE!

I mean in all fairness the Rolls pulled out into the street like a dumb ass. There is a stop sign coming out of that neighborhood and they would have seen the cars coming even if they were going a little fast.

It bugs me so much that nobody wears seatbelts in any of these scenes. Still a cool truck thought - the only 4x4 I ever really wanted.
