I just got back from a Moto Camping trip with the wife on the Husqvarna 701 using the Mosko Moto V1 backcountry 35L panniers and duffle. Let me just say it rained so hard I was contemplating bush crafting and arc... ok sarcasm, however it absolutely poured and the backcountry system flawlessly kept all of our gear 100% dry! I can not say enough how much I truly love this product! If you are a sheep and need to be just like your "buddy" then by all means go with something else but if you are your own man/woman... and your adventure takes you actually off the pavement; I can't imagine living without these. Mosko Moto Backcountry luggage TRULY IS THAT GOOD! So just like i always say "BUY NICE OR BUY TWICE". Get out and get you some.....adventure proof luggage that is!

Loved the gear on the recent trip to Alaska's Prudhoe Bay! Was really useful to pull the panniers off quickly and take them into my hotel room on the way home. I doubt the hotel appreciated how dirty I was. 😁 Was a bit muddy, and for the record, after 1,000 miles of windy rain, followed by snow, slush and ice... all my gear and electronics was 100% dry. Rad! Thanks for putting so much effort into your product designs.

@MoskoMoto
5 жыл бұрын
Hey Jersey Biker (: Ash here from Mosko. As for a recommendation on whether the offset kit or full blown 35L pannier kit will suit you better, that truly comes down to personal preference. Some like the symmetry of the offset kit, while others would rather have the extra space. As you mentioned, the compression straps on our panniers allow you to cinch down any unused capacity when it's not full. Good luck with the decision making and thanks for the support!

I just received my V2.0 bags (35L, 25L, and 40L duffle). I am very impressed by the quality and design. My only initial gripe is the lack of security. I'll add the security strap but I'd prefer an easier locking mechanism than to weave a cable or strap around the bags. I'm more concerned about the bag being stolen than what's inside. Secondly, it would be interesting to know the weight of the bags (33.5 lbs shipping weight) compared to aluminum panniers and top case. That's a consideration I didn't think about. Thanks for the bags BMW 850 GSA

Hey, just got a BMW F850 GSA and I was considering buying these bags too. How do you like them? How's the fitting process with the OEM racks? Also, do you travel with a passenger? If so, is it comfortable enough for the passenger to have the bags mounted? Thanks :D
@MustadMarine
4 жыл бұрын
@@danilocianfrone670 Mosko sells an adapter for the exhaust side mount. The fit is pretty good but not as adjustable as I would like. The top bag would get in the way of a passenger. The side bags are okay although I ride alone. Hard cases get thrashed if you drop the bike. The bags are beefy but also heavy.

It's too heavy and the dimensions do not lend itself to utilizing the "advertised" 35L. When it rains, the outer bags soak up with water thus making the bags even heavier. 20 lbs + for both bags empty is unnecessary. There are cheaper and lighter alternatives out there.
@MoskoMoto
5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Ash here from Mosko. I can attest after using the product extensively myself, that you can in fact utilize the 35L capacity and the outer bag does not soak up with water. Our outer bag comprised of 1680D Ballistic Nylon has a waterproof coating, in addition to the inner bag being a welded seam dry bag. The 'double bag system' is designed to protect your inner dry bag from abuse. Thanks for your feedback, I'd be very curious of your opinion after actually using our kit and putting it to the test (: you'd be hard pressed to find something more durable. Cheers!

@@MoskoMoto Ash...somewhat biased reply since you work and date the founder of the company...no? Anyway, my experience is the outer bag does soak up with water. Perhaps this is one reason why your version 2 uses a roll top dry bag for the external pocket. Don't worry, one negative review won't ruin the company. The market will decide if your bags are worth it. Besides there are enough fools in the market for everyone seller to take a pound of flesh from.

LOL! I love it when people purport to be "right", and not just "right for their application". It's well known that the Mosko Moto bags are heavier per liter of storage capacity - but it's also well known that it's due to heavier, more durable construction. My R1200GS Adventure has taken many dirt naps this summer, and my V1 Backcountry 35L's have held up beautifully. I'm jealous of the new features - but sadly, it looks like my current panniers & 40L duffle are going to hold up to years and years of abuse. Especially since they are designed to be repaired! 🤣

@@hungwasson1399 Have you ridden your bike RTW? What about out of your country? Perhaps, you're the typical poser GS owner who buys the most expensive gear just to ride down to Starbucks. Anyway, people have ridden scooters and used bean sacs and garbage bags as luggage to ride around the world successfully. To not point out obvious problems with these $900 bags means you have either drunk the marketing cool aid or you simply have no awareness of what the other bag manufacturers are doing. Why don't you take a look at Adventure Spec's Magadan 2 soft bags. They are half the price, extremely durable, waterproof and both bags weigh less than one BC35. They also pack a whole lot more gear at the same 35L size.

pointless, more expensive than alloy panniers, plus you can fit more in alloy plus they have a lot better security that this plus when traveling with all of this you have to take it all off or it will get sliced open and robbed stupid people.
