Hey Nic - Your videos are awesome!! I'm considering moving to Denver later this year and was wondering if you had any advice to share about backcountry access from Denver for someone who will be looking to do mostly day trips on the weekends. I've only skied the CO backcountry a few times (Vail Pass), which is a little over an hour from Denver and would be super doable for day trips. But wanted to get a sense for how much terrain is in play for someone in my situation. Thank you!!

The me for watching! As far as backcountry access goes. You can logistically access anything in Colorado from anywhere in the state. I often find myself traveling long distances to get to areas I desire. You just have to have the motivation to travel far sometimes. As for terrain near Denver, a lot of places I drive to are about the same distance from Denver as they are from me. Ripper fat

This looks almost exactly like the bawl outside of Snowmass. I hiked and came down the middle few days ago, I swear I thought this is it, that's why I clicked.

@@Nic5k Snowmass backcountry (that nobody knows). The back backcountry bawl is the size of Snowmass itself. You can hike to the top, ski down, and hike in any direction back up and do it again. You can even ski through the valley all the way to Aspen downtown. Check out on fat map.

@@AW33COM hm I am familiar with that area… be careful back there. It goes into private property and some terrain down low that is impassible. Stay safe be smart

Was this just someplace you picked to go, or hikeable terrain within a ski resort??
