I have to say you showed that transport driver a lot of patience! Between him standing between your truck and his trailer videoing your lift and then removing all of your rigging after the lift, I would have been annoyed by then and would have have had asked him to stand on the sidewalk! Great job you are a true professional!!

@@maartengaat8718 he shouldn’t have been anywhere near that lift let alone standing between the wrecker and the unit being lifted. He could have been recording from the safety of the sidewalk like the people who were receiving the vehicle are standing.. also, the transport operator being in a hurry is probably what lead him to the situation he found himself in!!

I am not surprised you helped out the transport driver in getting that mega-van off the trailer. Having watched most, if not all, of your videos I expected you to help, and you did. However, I am surprised also that you did so knowing that if something happened to it while you driving it off the trailer, your company might very well have been liable for any damage done. Great job with the resetting of it on the trailer! Phenomenal skills! When I was your age I would have done the same thing you did. Sadly, time and old age has made me jaded about things like that. Even though I know I could do it (even today at 75 years old) I would not have done so, simply because of the possible liability. Well done young man!

@@PepesTowingService Maybe it's because I'm around it every day, but speaking multiple languages is becoming the norm rather than the exception, so the first comment seemed a little odd. German students are taught to speak English so they can "switch flawlessly" from German to English, and my 13-year-old granddaughter can speak Spanish... "más o menos." I realize you didn't have a lot of good options, but it looks like you bent the safety chain attachment points. See 7:16 vs 16:12. They are relatively thin metal, and the weight of the RV that you picked up likely exceeded the weight that those attachment points are intended to be subjected to.

Good job and no scratches. It did bend the hitch a little. That 1/4" plate for the safety chains was not quite up to a lift. Not a big deal, but there are other options. We lift some of our equipment like that but we got a heavy duty recovery point that goes in the hitch. I've done the same thing by lifting from the safety chain holes. Some hitches are over half inch thick bars that are no problem but others just do those quarter inch plates with holes. It doesn't help that those RVs are crazy heavy for what size they are.

Very very very high level of precision here, showcases quite well how delicate these big, brawny, trucks can achieve. So much wrong with the transport. #1: why was it so far forward? Those sprinter campers weigh in around 12,000lbs. #2: Guy had no clue how to use his equipment. His trailer was equipped with a winch. He could of easily rigged something up and tugged it back over with his own winch.
