Looks Good. But how did you fix the trap in it? Did you cut the light panel through ??
@PilotJon

Great question- yes we drilled right through the panel. There is a row of LED lights on the side of each panel and you may cut the panels in certain areas. You can drill through the panel anywhere and the whole panel will still light up.

Lol that's how he removed the glass huh? Just curious if it's glued to the lights or you relying on the sink drain to secure it to the plywood? Seriously , that stuffs fragile and I'm curious if it's glued? if not, how has it lasted with use. And if it is, did the glue effect the color/ can you see the glue. 🤔

How did you make the holes for the drain and the faucet if I don’t leave space between the light panels?
@PilotJon

These panels can be drilled through. There is a string of lights on one side of each panel leaving the other 3 sides and middle open to cut as needed. You can even trim the light side in certain spots if needed

Panel still working after u cutted basin hole , how?? 🥺

The light portion is a small strip on one edge of the panel. the frosted plastic lights up from that single row of lights so you can cut the panel and still have proper function.

What is the size of the shorter depth? That’s against the wall where it doesn’t have to curve under to cover an exposed edge?

What happens if a light fails? Wanting to do a bar island

Excellent question! These panels have an incredible life cycle. I planned on failures. I used minimal glue to hold the Onyx to the lights and the lights to the sub panel. For my installation- the faucet and drain plumbing will hold my system together. For a large bar I would expect the weight of the Onyx to hold it all together. If you expect weight shifts etc.. there may be other things you should do..

It is- The plastic panel is just plastic. I didn't actually cut any of the electrical portion of the panel

can a panel burnout?
@PilotJon

Excellent question!! Yes- these are rated for 5000 hours at the time I bought them. When we laid the onyx we were very careful with how we used the adhesive so it would be easier to change a panel. So far no problems! For me to hit 5000 hours will take forever honestly.. thanks for watching! I hope you subscribed 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Way to much work. You could have received the same effect with having a tube LED light like the ones you use to replace fluorescents
