I was the lookout on Black Butte in 1975. So lucky to have that experience! I hiked up from the Salmon River in 2017 for an overnight. The door to the lookout wasn't locked and people, likely hunters, had left a lot of trash inside. I was terribly dismayed and visited the FS office to let them know about the garbage. I'm glad to see that the Forest Service has secured the entry. If only people wouldn't be so thoughtless, the door might not have needed to be sealed shut. I hope someday that the lookout can be restored and rented out. I love that place! As an aside, you wouldn't have stayed inside the lookout if it was as I found it in 2017. Really gross.

Nothing as beautiful as spending the night on top of a mountain surrounded by wilderness. The shadow of the mountain you are standing on is something that looms over the whole landscape. You look for yourself on that shadow but can't see a thing!

Wow, beautiful area! The terrain is so steep! I would be nervous on that trail. Amazing views from the lookout!

Another nice video, thanks for posting. Not to sound like a broken record but I've only been to Gospel-Hump once. Set up camp at Oregrande summit and took trail into Wilderness area right form there. Some of the most rugged country I've hiked. And beautiful.

16:40 That outfit drives me Shiofuki-momoo.Uno nuts on you and you have that curvy body. You did a good job modelingz it too. Also like the last outfit 20:11.. Love how the garter belts connect to the stockings and sheer top
