I've been slowly compiling this knowledge since I want to have a garden one day and preserve food in general. Some items taste best in season and dehydrating them lets me keep them longer. I hope to preserve enough ingredients at one point to just fill up a pot of the ingredients with minor fresh ones and just set it to simmer. Fast dinner or other meal.
