I LOVE the extra dirt you added around the edges of the floor & ceiling. And the scratches on the wallpaper, and lines from the wallpaper sheets overlapping. The carpet actually looks like carpet. Adds so much more detail and realism to these scenes. Makes it look "old" and lived in, which is pretty terrifying to think of. (Criticism time!: the human models need more work. But I bet you knew that already! It's always risky showing a full human figure because our eyes are so well trained to recognize it, and notice if even the slightest detail is off. The hazmat suits work so well because they cover up so much of the human form. But I still appreciate the risks you took here, you're obviously really talented already! Everything else is fantastic, the new entity, the sounds, the voice acting, lighting, everything. Great work.)

The time stamps on the screen indicated that he had been walking aimlessly through the Backrooms for over 7 hours or more! Walking that long without a chance to sit down and rest creates a fair amount of fatigue. Seven plus hours of walking also equals at least 10-14 miles of endless corridors .. the horror of it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up! Very well done!

Wow this... Was legitimately scary. The tension, the original use of an elevator and seeing a "person" there. I actually liked your person render because it didn't strike me as a real human rather some strange construct of the Backrooms. If you imagine seeing what looks like a strange 3D model, a stiff uncanny person in real life the thought is terrifying. The tension was off the charts and I love how waterlogged and dirty your backrooms were. The monster was also very unique and struck me as very incomprehensible which again was really really scary. Genuinely got goosebumps from this. Oh and the camera timestamp... That was incredible. This was awesome. Framed as a missing person report with the titlecards also gave this a scary "not to be seen" feeling. Looking forward to more of your work.

Actually, that is the part that immediately broke suspension of disbelief. Camcorders don't record with the word "Play" and the play-triangle symbol. Players display that during playback. So, if the footage was found and being played back, why would the *player* show time and date in the same font style, size, and color? Timestamps were not data interpreted by players...timestamps were recorded onto the tape along with the images and sound. That, and the images and sound are too obviously digital; no changes in focus or aperture adjustment. You know....the reasons why video shot by camcorder always sucked when the videographer would not quit moving.

Out of all the backroom videos in YT that are well crafted cg to look nearly realistic of sort, this gave the most creeps especially with all the eerie noises coupled with the panicked muffle of the human recording the circumstance. Towards the end, not sure what form of entity that was....it really managed to give a kind of spook i never felt before. The sounds it made elevated the effect even more. Add to that the only exit was a seemingly endless drop to nowhere and the video cuts off, this has to be one of the scariest next to Kane Pixels original backroom video.

To The Odd Reel: Excellent work! I absolutely love this and it had me really scared. This video was so compelling when it comes to the aspect of classic visceral fear. It wasn't full of the average entities, which are scary in their own right when it comes to jump-scares. I find these videos to be really enjoyable and frightening, but this one was unique. At around 4:26, you have a fairly rudimentary human woman as portrayed in more basic CGI: no discernable facial features, presented from a considerable distance in relation to the protagonist, and she is plodding along in a very abnormal fashion. Who is she?!?! However, she is to be discovered as no more when the guy rounds the corner. When seeing her, there is the presence of bizarre music in the distance that is unsettling. After some more unnerving moments, we see an electrical distortion of some sort, then espy the same mysterious female slipping away in the peripheral vision of the subject. So desperate to make some contact with what appears to be another human, our central character is petrified and left bereft, bewildered, and terrified. More to come? I hope so! You appear to be quite talented. Based on viewing this video alone, I have liked & subscribed. Thanks!

I have to say this is a well crafted masterpiece, the sound quality matches with the concept of the video quality, this giving it a original feel to the masterpiece, the sounds and breathing, the tonality of the man's voice giving the viewer a way to emotionally connect better with the victim in the backrooms, all of the vocalized changes coincide with the situation. SUCH EMOTION was put into this, you can hear the feelings and somewhat feel the thoughts from the victim lost in this insanity, it seems very realistic, I can't really tell how much CGI was in there other then the obvious entity that seemed to be some what graphically made, also the girl walking did seem a bit cgi like, just only vague, you really have to pay attention to it very closely. While mostly life like I could see some sort of CGI quality to the girl walking. the walls and the floors, and lights are all to real looking. It almost makes you wonder if a stage was built with props and or piece of a real location was used in part of the filming, perhaps it was perhaps it wasn't either way what wonderful quality! It looks like a real Video/audio tap from the 1990s that SP quality, that standard definition quality is very much apparent, while still showing some aging of the tape it self it shows some sort of quality degradation. Another thing is the Spirit screaming at the beginning starting to give chase seems It seemed that the quality of that scream was just slightly higher then the voice of the man in the video, however it was very hard to tell, some I am sure might not notice at first or maybe never notice at all, This has been well hand crafted and edited, I can tell that you took time creating this first time upload. Congrats on your first successful launch into the backrooms ! P.S Decided to Subscribe to your channel!

As a non-tecky, I've always wondered how all these Backrooms vids are technically realized. I understand dubbing and video editing, but which software / engine can be used to create such renderings? Do you build assets in Blender and add those to something like UE5? And: Do you build the map beforehand, "run" through it live in 1st person while capturing the whole thing?

Creating that type of geometry is as easy as it gets. There's only a few textures and they are very simple; just repeat one pattern over and over. Given the low video resolution the textures and models don't even need much detail.
