Hey Flair , I work at costco and I can tell you one thing you gotta try that chicken freshly cooked right out the ovens and not over night in the fridge . Trust !.
@chriscanterbury8647

Agreed, the Costco chicken was over cooked at that point being reheated. They only have a 3 day shelf life too if I remember right. Sams or Costco, both have too good of chicken for me to raise more than just egg birds
@amandaball1925
2 жыл бұрын
The Costco ones are banging, but you have to have them fresh. Not reheated as long as you did because it dries it out. Also, Costco doesn’t add too much flavoring, if any at all.

Yes. Macy's wasn't cooked the same way. Both were bussin I am sure but costco was cooked on a spit instead of a dutch oven. That is why the skin was soggy.

Hey Flair! Buy a “set it and forget it” rotisserie cooker, you’ll get the crispiness that your looking for because it’s constantly turning over high heat rather than sitting in a pot absorbing the liquid. Keep up the awesome content buddy! SHEEEEEEW

It’d be more dry on the inside though. The reason theirs is so moist is because it was sitting in the hot juices instead of dripping it out. I’d just spray it with olive oil and broil it for 10-20 minutes after cooking it exactly how they did. That would kind of “fry” the skin. Brown sugar is used to create that “glaze” look and honestly they probably have a spray bottle of brown sugar water they spray over the top while it’s cooking because that skin looks caramelized.

Sebesto Flea Collars for both Lucy and Milly, they where recommend to me by my vet; I couldn't believe how well they work. They also last for 8 months so you dont have to replace it but 1 and a half times a year. Instant pot! You can put the bird in frozen with all the seasonings and vegetables cook it for the prescribed time to the weight of the bird. Then pull bird out, put on cooking pan breast up, 400 degree oven, for 30 minutes, and basting as needed with the drippings from the instant pot. The fastest, tender, juicy, and crispy skin bird. The drippings for the instant pot can be used as chicken stock also. Buddy of mine does pastured birds and they are the best.
