Great video! Yes, I’d like to see the wash video on it for sure. I clean mine with a air compressor and have never washed it due to “fear of the unknown”.

@@south_coast I forgot to ask you earlier, are you running regular pump gas in yours or opting for the non ethanol gas? I’ve done both but with winter coming on and one more cut left I think I’m gonna put in non ethanol this time
@south_coast

@@58bobw I only use non-ethanol in all of my small engines. This goes for generator, pressure washer, mowers, string trimmer, chainsaws, etc. Around here I can only get non-ethanol in a 90 octane flavor, so that is what I run.

Well my fear of NO GREASE FITTINGS on the spindles of my 2024 BB XT 60 has been proven. 51 hours and 7 months old and the bearings are shot. Chinese Bearings 3 with some kind of rust grease and 3 with very little grease at all. I never washed my mower just blew it off and it lived in a barn.

This is my first mower without greaseable spindles and I hope they work out. My last 2 mowers were Cub Cadet's and I ran them to death. Just about everything on them wore out or broke EXCEPT the spindle assembly's, all had grease zerks. We'll see.

You are missing two grease fittings you have one on a deck and one in the back underneath the mower

Question: season is over here in Georgia for mowing. I just used my Bad Boy yesterday for the last time before March 2021. I want to either change blades out or sharpen them, not sure until I see them. Do you know the best way to get at blades? Hoist? Tip up? Jack stands? Home made out of cribbing block? Oil changes are one thing, getting under deck is another. Any advice/info appreciated! Thx 🙏

I use car ramps. Raise the deck all the way and back the mower up into position and set the brake. Jack up the front till its level, not higher or oil gets into the engines cylinders. There should be enough clearance to use an impact tool on the spindle bolts. I don't use impact to retighten, you might strip or bust bolts off... A. Scott

what size nut is used to unscrew the bolt? And for my first oil change, the nut is so tight - what's the trick to loosen it. I"m a girl.

Correct. It is a pump belt tensioner fitting and I would like to know how to get on it to grease it. NO ONE covers it! And certainly not the factory videos.

If it has a pump belt tensioner fitting I would like to know how to get on it. The mower place keeps saying you gotta get it from underneath and use a 90 degree fitting on your grease gun. I've done both and still can't get on it.

I have a question to see if you can answer it. I have a bad boy Mavic and my steering arms one of them works real good. The other one doesn’t react as well. I don’t know if it’s a linkage or if it needs to be greased up so when I go in reverse, I believe it’s the right side I have to pull it twice as far back for it to work, the problem is I don’t know what the problem is. Everything seems to be OK.

Are they even when you are going forward or does the right one need twice as much input?

Correct. I would like to know how to get on the pump belt tensioner fitting to grease it that is underneath the mower.
