My son passed away at age 11.. this song always reminds me of him. How blessed was he to be saved from the wickedness of this world. Yet he lived long enough to achieve so much as an actor and model. He was just learning to play guitar. Thank you Bad Company for helping me to fight my own demons through great music. There will never be anything like the music of the 50’s - the 90’s. I sang this song to my first wife to win her love, which I did, then like the lyrics in the song...I shot her down. It was the first song I ever learned. She passed from this world in to the next a year or so ago. My sincerest apologies to her family for not being the man I should hsve been especially viewing the fact that I turned out to be a self righteous hypocrite. I would also like to apologize to all her friends and acquaintances that were adversely affected by my actions. I can only hope and pray that they somehow find a way to forgive me. RIP Annie.

Joseph Komblevicz don't beat yourself up! The mere fact that you understand your missed doings and you apologized none of us are perfect! Yes it's a shame that she couldn't be alive for you to say what you had to say but you know what she knows you'll see her again someday" the good Lord has forgiven you and I'm sure those that love and care about you, they truly do, have forgiven You. But know in God's kingdom we are forgiven! If we just confess it. God bless you. Jac.

This is a beautiful song from my childhood, it helped me understand life and the way things turn out in life sometimes. It gave me perspective and a solid ground to understand how life and years work. I was blessed to be born back then and the beautiful music that was produced in our era. Today it's very rare and far between. I can still tell a true artist when I hear one, and I have a few good friends that are amazing at what they sing ❤️! God Bless them.

Brings to mind the short, but surprising best seller from a little later (@ 1980?), “Jonathan Livingston Seagull” by Richard Bach. Anyone else know what I am talking about? He went on to write several wonderful books, among them “A Bride Across Forever”. I still have my old paperback from @ 1985 (?)..beautiful Book...
