You have no idea how representative the lyrics of this song are for the political moment here in Brazil. We live in an obscure time, where we walk contrary to evolution because of the equality and justice that we have conquered and that the conservatives never accepted. But again we will win. Thank you for this song.

I saw them play this a few weeks before my first trip to Brazil. The longer I stayed the more I recognized this same representation in the lyrics. Been back a few times since and always put their album on for the flights. Made me happy to hear someone else shared this thought and I also want to thank them for this anthem of a song.

"Nobody seems willing to reign in the crazies" - Except they do. Most feminists argue against Terfs and Swerfs. But you're right, nobody cares for the rest of radical feminists because they are a tiny tiny minority and noone takes them serious - with the exception of some youtubers who can make a lot of money by blowing the influence of radical feminists way out of proportion (i.e. outrage porn). I've never met a single feminist who wanted men to "apologise for existing". Egalitarianism is a concept that ignores social realities and the fact that not everyone has the same starting position. That's why feminists fight for equity (a good ilustration of the difference between egalitarianism and equity is the little cartoon with the boxes that comes up first when you do a google search for both words). Or like a friend of mine once said: Feminism means acknowledging the fact that everything Fred Astaire did, Ginger Rogers had to do backwards and on high heels.
@paultardspambot

Generally, they are not taking issue with equality. Much of modern feminism is not concerned with those basic issues, but more controversial things that it tends to promote in an aggressive fashion. When confronted, it can retreat to "it's just about equality." However, there is nothing in this song I disagree with.
@SkremoMcThrftsto
