@Northern_Tool Northstar 5500 generator purchased for just 10c per watt. Stored 10 years, started with the first pull. Every detail down to the fasteners is well-thought-out and made of quality materials. The only thing I'm going to do is fabricate some sort of detachable, longer handles.
Got it home, ran it for a couple of hours without incident. It seems that if you plug two things on the one side it selects between one or the other of the plugs so that you don't overload it. on the 240-volt side the adapter I picked up at Lowe's isn't the right type of plug so I wasn't able to try two things at once.
Went and got some fresh fie-dollah, git-er-dun 92. Put that $25 in the tank and it stopped five minutes later. wouldn't even grumble towards starting.
I thought dumping that gas in the tank maybe dislodge some settlement and plugged up the carburetor fuel line or something so the next morning I started troubleshooting and of course I always start at the wrong end and make the wrong guesses. Turned out there was just water in the bowl. Lots of water in the bowl.
Never mind the expense; from time alone, I would have been better off just giving away all the meat in my freezer than trying to keep it runnin' while this situation here gets sorted out.
Негізгі бет Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары Bad, expensive gas. Shoulda bought 89 octane.
