I'm tired of this city. All the toil and strife. Running across the boulevard - playing frogger with my life.

Right on, man. I haven't thought of it before, but maybe that's why I can listen to Bad Religion all day without getting tired...It doesn't work that way for me with other punkbands. But Graffin has a history of being influenced by simple folkmusic, and maybe that's why their music touches me so much.

Like I said, I like all sorts of music, but BR have many insightful things to say. You may not like them but they re-defined the genre and you should respect them for that.

That's cool, you like the ramones and the clash, oh and Neil Young, one of Canada's finest artists. Thanks for telling me what you like. BR was inspired by bands like the ramones but also authors and writers, too. Talking heads are pretty cool, too. Anyway, I'm glad you have you're opinion and you're strong convictions.

If this was the only Bad Religion song I'd heard I would agree with you. I encourage you to listen to other stuff they've done if you haven't already. They are much better than the sex pistols.

I know this song is about the traffic in Los Angeles, but man it sums up Queens Boulevard nicely too. Just look Queens Boulevard on Wikipedia and scroll down to "Boulevard of Death reputation".

@JohnZackarias Agree with this comment with a late reply. I can honestly say that throughout high school I learned more vocabulary from Bad Religion than I did in any of the books they gave us.

What does it matter the music I listen to? I'm not trying to tell you what to think. Shit! Think for yourself! That is what the original punks were all about. I listen to the Earth turning on its axis. Beautiful music. If you like the Bad Religion, why the fucking Hell do you care what I think? Why? Not sure if you really like them? Afraid you might not be cool? Ciao.

Well the singer is actually a college professor aswell. He teaches at UCLA. Where do you teach? And further, Bad Religion is very uncliche. Instead of singing about anarchy or "breaking all the rules" they sing about everything we fear about everyday, the questions we are all asking as humans. And I still don't understand why you would watch the video if you hate it. And for a college teacher you certainly act like an immature student.

Bad Re-Idiots? Yeah, right. Read their lyrics and come again. No matter how simple the songs are, they pleasure my ears, immensely. And they're not a bunch of stupid "KILL THE GOVERNMENT"-punks, they're intellectual.

@daveywaveydave Well, they did draw a lot of inspiration from the Germs lyrically, but I wouldn't call it derivative, I agree.

Um no tattoos. I'm not a punk, I listen to all types of music: Punk, jazz, folk, indie, underground hip hop etc. But I honestly just want to know what you find to be original in this world. And he teaches biology...so no he's no light weight at his college. Why do you hate them so much? If you don't like it that's fine...but don't freak on other people who do look at it beyond it being punk.

Originality --- it's a specious category. I like any music that puts some balls on the line. If you're so interested in what musicians I admire, click on my page. It's a partial list. I hope whoever the guy is in this band that teaches at UCLA, is a better biologist than he is a musician.

Furthermore, I was not the one who "start(ed) swearing at (someone) for expressing they're opinions". I was cursed for expressing MY opinion. Oroginal exchange: bapyou: This kind of music blows. Nothing interesting about it. Cliched. keyransolo: Shut the fuck up. BR own anything you could do musically. So, I write that this band blows, and I'm told to "shut the fuck up". I won't shut up for anyone. If I'm cursed at, I will curse back.
