Three weeks ago yesterday my baby lost the love of her life, her soul mate and best friend...she played this song that he had dedicated to her at his funeral and it just spoke to my soul...they were so good together...so full of life and staying young...to watch your child go through this pain at 27 is so hard...you made my daughter so happy Dylan...you will be forever in my heart ❤

My fiance passed away a little over a year ago and I always think of him when I hear this song. I found this song shortly after his passing. And a lot of things he said to me are in this song too.

This version is the best; with the silent pain, before the bridge. Thank You for uploading. “When did you get so sick and how could you die? You promised me you’d never grow up, but you fucking grew up, God I miss you so much.” I can’t make it through those lines.

Me and girlfriend broke up the weekend after my birthday and it hurt because I felt betrayed because she lied about something that made me mad and I miss her everyday because I thought that she was the one for me. And I’ve started thinking that I’d be better off alone because then no one would leave me. This was our song. She told me that she wanted me to listen it because she said that it reminded her of our relationship. But now she’s gonna forever. What’s the point of falling in love with someone who’s gonna end up leaving you

There is a Prinxiety animatic for this song. If you are a Sanders Sides fan, and looking for a good cry, watch that animatic and the part one of it. Even if you don’t ship Prinxiety, the whole thing is sad. And beautiful.😭

Am I the only one who thinks this song is actually really cynical? It’s shredding the niavety of youth and young love to leave the bleak reality - life never works out like you plan, we're all gonna die, and love can't overcome everything like in the movies. I actually really appreciate it as a snarling, callous deconstruction of idealism; reality is shit, but it's also not going away, and the only way to lice with it non-destructively is to accept it with maturity.
