Save ur money guys and girls, use a feeder effectivly as the bopper, cast in a good few times before u setup with a hooklink on, mix the groundbait a bit heavy.

What size reel would you recommend to use with braid on the bopper rod,intresting videp

Any reel would be fine as no long casting required for the most part. A 5000-6000 is fine.

How dare you quote: "My new Bopper"? I invented it, and it's called a Spopper. Fuming for the lack of recognitions from the Korum team. Even the tips on how to use it was down to me and my mates over the last 5 years. And you dared calling it a "Bopper" which is the ice on the cake.

So let me get this straight. You took a spomb, which was someone elses invention/idea and a bait dropper, which is also someone elses invention/idea, you took both of those ideas and combined them into one product and claim to have reinvented the wheel. As far as I see it you took two other people's ideas/products and combined them, that doesn't make them yours. Spombs and bait droppers have been around for years, but the idea of bait droppers has been around a lot longer. You also took two other people's products' names and combined those. And you want recognition for using two other people's ideas 🤣🤣 WOW.

I believe Harry said "my new bopper" because that is his, that we gave him. He wasn't implying anything else. Did you by anychance read the article on our website Chris?

But if it snaps off regardless of river or lake..leader or not..surely it's gone forever right?

If you crack off on the cast, surely this will just sit on the lake bed?

It’s for rivers not lakes and as long as you use a leader as you do with a spomb it shouldn’t crack off

You can use it anywhere. Though primarily designed for running water, it has good uses on deep venues - or to get your bait past the ducks! 😂

I fish a deep slow running river bought one it’s useless. Does not open. Tried every weight variation unscrewed and loosened where I could, still won’t open. It opens when gently lowered on to the bank but will not open in the water. Very disappointed

Are you fishing over silt? Also are you allowing it to fall on a tight line? Let it drop on a tight line and give it a couple of lifts before reeling back in. I used mine on the lower severn last week in about 18ft of water and it opened every single time.
@chrismckechnie1911

Yes it’s a very soft bottom silty
@KorumFishing

@@chrismckechnie1911 that will be where the issue lies then, any form of bait dropper will have trouble opening on a soft bottom, bait droppers need to make contact with a firm surface in order for the pin to be pushed up.

Interesting you say that I have been using the traditional one where I opened the pin slightly and it pops open every time. I went for the bopper for its shape and sleakness
@KorumFishing
Жыл бұрын
@@chrismckechnie1911 the old style ones can be adjusted by bending pins and not fully engaging the pin, maybe something we can look at to get it to open easier on softer surfaces, maybe an end pin with a slightly bigger surface area is all it needs. Ill have a word with the product guys about this.

Good idea but I don't really want a huge rocket shaped thing plummeting down through my swim. It's like casting a marker float repeatedly through your swim. No thanks. The beauty of a spomb is that it drops the bait on the top of the water.

You wouldnt want to be dropping bait into the river with a spomb unless you want to be feeding someone elses peg a 100 yards down stream lol.

But then bait spreads out as it drops through the water ... bouncing off the water molecules as if they were wire pins ... also subject to undertow and currents on its fall. Bopper places the bait in one pile on the bottom... In fact I spomb out bait first to create an area of bait and then bopper out piles into that area... And fish are not concerned at all about it passing into the swim.... in fact the noise and motion can actually attract esp with tench...
