Gooey, crispy, easy and delicious. These treats will make your guests think that these took hours. But we'll know how easy they actually were.

Ingredients:
Puff pastry. You can make your own or you can buy high-quality premade.
2 Fuji apples
Sugar Cinnamon mix. (1 teaspoon of cinnamon every quarter cup of sugar)
Egg Wash (One large egg, and a couple of teaspoons of water whisked together)
Apricot Preserves to taste
2 tablespoons of melted butter
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°
Make your egg wash by beating one egg and a couple of teaspoons of water.
Cut the apples in half and cut the ends off and cut thin slices. Remove the seeds.
Put your slices onto a plate. It doesn’t matter if they’re touching or not. Don’t stack them too high. Put the plate in the microwave, uncovered for 1 minute and 30 seconds to make them nice and flexible so they’re easy to work with.
Cover those up with a piece of saran wrap, and a dish towel and put them aside while you prepare your pastry.
Flour your surface and layout your puff pastry. Use a roller and make it about 1/8 of an inch thick. Now cut 1 1/2 to 2 inch pieces. We’re not looking for perfect. These should be rustic looking.
Separate your strips of dough and lightly butter them. Put enough apricot jam on your strips so they’re coated. But not too thick.
Place your apples over the pastry, about halfway down and they should overlap a bit.
Sprinkle your cinnamon sugar evenly over each one. You can use as much or as little as you like.
Now fold the dough up over the bottoms of the apples, and lighty press it in place.
Brush the egg white over the pastry.
Sprinkle more cinnamon sugar over them.
Roll them up carefully and place into a pre-buttered ramekin. They should fit in nicely, but not too snug.
Place the ramekins directly onto the rack and you’re gonna bake these for 40 minutes About halfway through, placed tin foil over each one to prevent the tips of the apples from getting too charred.
After another 20 minutes, takeoff the tinfoil and remove from the oven. Place on a wire rack to cool for about 10 minutes
Then, using a knife, separate the treat from the ramekin and put them on the wire rack to cool the rest of the way.
Sprinkles powdered sugar over the top and serve.
