This week's episode highlights another fun kitchen session that you'll surely love. If you're ready to get creative with food, let's get started!
Is this your first time baking yuca fries? If you haven't heard about it before, I'm happy to explain what it's made of. Yuca is a starchy root vegetable or tuber that has a waxy outer skin and a starchy center. It is native to South, Central America, and the Caribbean and often used in Latin dishes. Compared to potatoes, yuca root is higher in calories, protein, and carbs.
Ingredients:
✅ Salt
✅ Yuca
✅ Water
✅ Garlic power
✅ Paprika
Cooking directions for your reference:
✅ Peel off the thick layer of brown skin, leave out the tough fibrous core and cut them into wedges. Or, any shape you want to!
✅ Take a big pot of salted water, throw in all the wedges that you just cut up, and boil them for fifteen minutes.
✅ Once cooked, transfer to another container. Sprinkle a generous amount of paprika and garlic powder for more flavors. Pick your choice of flavor!
✅ Put it in the oven and bake for a few more minutes until you achieve your preferred texture and color. Whatever works for you!
