In this video we take a thorough dive into probably the most iconic alto saxophone song of all time, and it is of course “Baker Street”. We look at the saxophone riff at the start of the tune, how to play the “gliss” or run that precedes it and then we take a detailed look at the melody, including the A and B sections. All the notes are played out for you in letter names, and there is a free worksheet at the end of the video which you can screenshot and print off. Please let me know if this is useful, if it is it will encourage me to make more tutorials like it with tunes that you love.
