Our 3 year old loves to help me bake. It takes twice as long to get something in the oven, it's super messy, and I have to practice a lot of patience when he gets off-track. But he enjoys being involved, gets excited about tasting the finished product, and is learning valuable skills as a human.
He's been helping me since he was about 2, and it's been a slow learning process. He's almost a pro at cracking eggs himself, and he is great at counting cups/spoons of ingredients.
