I think the most important aspect of these videos, aside from the obvious and immeasurable cuteness factor, is the parenting skill and the absolutely unconditional love. These videos are an ongoing Masterclass in parenting. These girls are never yelled at for simply being kids, never neglected, ignored, etc. They’re never made to feel bad for making a mess, spilling something, etc. As they get older, they will never have their feelings dishonoured or invalidated, their opinions and feelings will never be dismissed, they’ll never be told to stop crying and go to their room, their creativity will never be quashed or under-appreciated. They will grow up with their self-value and sense of worthiness fully intact. This is priceless and rare. How many people can say they were raised to have their self-value fully intact when they became adults? If only more parents would raise their kids this way, it would truly change the world. I could go on and on but I’ll stop here. Bravo Kare and Swav! 🎯 ps. I’ve never tried dates because I don’t like prunes and I’ve always assumed they were similar. But watching the girls gobble them up has made me want to make these. Thanks!

And can I also say that moment when Franki gets kinda pulled out of the chair and knocks the bowl was handled with such GRACE!! It’s amazing how kids really do look to the adults in their life to gauge reactions. I imagine if you guys reacted with anger or upset that she would have as well. Instead you guys pointed out it was an accident and kept it moving. Amazing and something we all can learn from. ❤

As the eldest of six children, with 5 girls and 1 boy, I was thrilled to see you baking with your children. My sisters and I had countless hours of fun in the kitchen, 1st with mom showing & teaching; then each doing our own specialties and likes. My mother also made (and taught us) date bars, this brought back those memories. She too did not add sugar except to the crust, she said the dates have enough sweetness in them. Watching you made me realize how much patience it must have taken for her, at some point she would’ve had 4-5 young girls all trying to take their turn at mixing etc simultaneously!!😊 My mom probably doubled the recipe, as ours were baked in 9” X11” pan.🤣 Enjoy those moments turning into memories, I’m turning 70, just lost my mom last yr at 90 yrs old, and would give anything to bake with her again. But I have the memories, and they are very sweet indeed!❤️

I was a busy mom of two kids while running a very hectic business but always tried to have time for them and their needs. We took them to wonderful destinations all over the world for family holidays giving them lasting memories they still talk about today. I love these guys parenting skills. I watch my daughter with my granddaughter and I realise she learned those skills from me! My daughter is so very good in understanding her daughter’s needs and she’s creative too. She home educates so they spend a lot of time together. Watching Kare with her two lovely girls I can see things I did wrong and those I did right. Kare really is a Super Mom!
