These videos just keep getting better my friend! The words “there’s a whole lot of holes in SWEETWATER county” might be the best western song lyric ever written.

I really want to see Brenn in person, maybe in Elko at the poetry gathering?

Thanks Jack. Performing at Elko is by invitation - I actually have no influence on the lineup there. The Western Folklife selection committee determines the roster. Thanks for your good word there.

@@brennhill7854 I live in Oregon, and grew up on country and western music. I enjoyed the Western songs like the "Masters call" of course all of Marty Robbins stuff for that matter. 20 years ago when I was a kid going to college I went to Alaska, i met hobo Jim love most of his folk music. (Wilf and free has to be my favorite) Some of the Aaron Watson stuff is great like long arm of the law or trespassing old man walkers property. I enjoy red steagall. but song after song after song by Brenn Hill I really really enjoy and can really relate to. Hunting fangs fits me to a Tee, sometimes I'm hunting horns, sometimes I'm hunting meet (little horns) but I'm always hunting fangs... and yeah my heart skips a beat open the morn. The first song I heard "monster on your back" been a fan ever sense.... thanks for the memories, and memories to come. I will email or write a old fashioned letter to the national poetry Gathering officials and ask they put you in the lineup I would definitely drive down to see that show. Jack
