It's TRUE!
994 of these neat machines, based on the very popular board game MASTERMIND, were manufactured. BUT, just about 500 of them DISAPPEARED from the Bally Warehouse.
First, Todd Tuckey shows the new owner Chuck all about his game--but Chuck shows Todd all about the unique gameplay....its so neat!
There are NO pop bumpers or even a Shooter Rod on this unique game, which uses three balls but is NOT Multiball! It is also the ONLY 1977 to 1988 game to have 128 computer controlled lamps, as there are SO many jewels under the playfield to let you know your guesses!
Jeff at ARCADE HOLLDWOOD filmed a special interview that EXPLAINS what happened to those missing Spectrums--filmed at Pinball Expo some 8 years back...Watch this hour long episode hosted by Todd Tuckey himself here! • Allan Reizman The Ball...
This video link at the end, along with TWO other Spectrums we restored years ago...
Custom drop targets for both SPECTRUM and SPACE INVADERS games can be ordered from JEFF at Classic Arcades www.classic-arcades.com He also sells the Pop Bumper Caps for SI, and the FOIL BALLY Stickers for the coin door!
THEN...lets explore the other things in our TNT Amusements Showrooms as we walk around to see what's new!
