Hi James, what tool are you using to trim the monokote, not talking about the x-acto knife the other tool, by the way you are doing a fantastic job, been watching all your videos and been getting a lot of tips. Thank you

Someone mentioned fuel proofing the engine compartment, do you think that's necessary with the film and expoxy that was used? If it were glow, I surely would, but gasolene???

I think its always good, even with gas. Best way to do it is not how I did, do it before you install the engine mount. Epoxy resin or even just a type paint to seal the wood is helpful

How hard to install and remove the wing? Thinking of doing this kit, but it won’t fit in my car unless I take off the wing every time I go to the field. Is that realistic with this plane?

Hi, well that what I will be doing. The wing goes on easily, plug in with the front dowels, and screw on the back. I do worry a little bit about the nylon bolts tapped into hardwood threads for this size of plane? But its not hard to install. Its a big wing, so I do have to transport disassembled.

@@JamesRCPlaneTech Thanks for the reply. I have two other planes with nylon bolts tapped into plywood or hardwood threads, smaller than this plane, and I was so uncomfortable with that setup that I found a way to include nylon nuts. In one plane with a top mounted wing I insert the nuts through a fuselage cockpit window which just happened to line up perfectly and I left uncovered, and in another plane I glued the nut to the bottom of the threaded wood piece. I definitely know what you mean about wondering if just the tapped wood will do the job or not!
