Laurita and Lauren visit the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History and Culture in Baltimore. Named after a trailblazing African American businessman, the museum highlights black history in Maryland and showcases over 11,000 objects spanning 300 years. The third floor of the museum houses a permanent exhibition featuring figures like Frederick Douglass and Harriet Tubman. Other highlights include unique artifacts from Black Greek-letter organizations; and a replica of the "Freedom" statue crafted by enslaved hands; a poignant Breonna Taylor exhibit and an intriguing display of church hats linked to personal family histories.
