Hello. Thanks to this video, I discovered that you can paint with the numeric keypad and change angles with ctrl + numeric keypad. Thanks for that ♥ And thanks for the video!

crazy how much i learn every video, even the simplest little things like camera angles have helped a ton! Blows my mind how much time you shaved off by printing it cut

Wow what a great resource you have here Ashley! 1 new subscriber! One thing I would like to know is, with my other printers that run on Octoprint and OctoKlipper if I have a plate with multiple parts and one fails I can cancel that part, can the same be done with Bambu Studio and my X1 Carbon?

Hello and thank you very much for the kind words and sub. Object exclusion is available on the X1 series printers and I believe the P1 and A1 too. If you start a print there is an option on the touch screen or the bambu handy app. kzitem.infoJt4pM61iwdI I have heard multi color prints get wonky with object exclusion but I have used it so rarely I do not have direct knowledge about it.

THX for another great and informative video! 👍 I am wondering if I can make a photo of a dog or a person to svg and print it in, let's say 3-4 colours?

Short answer is yes, but the long answer is it probably wont work well. Large/detailed svg files will choke the slicer. Photos converted to SVG rarely work well. If you are converting a photo to a 3d print I would recommend using the program *Hueforge* it will handle photos much better than SVG.

If you hold the shift key you can select the first and last object that you want to select and all the object in between will be selected.

Thanks for a great vid. I have a question please, lets say you import the svg of the castle thats in the vid. But the door and window's are open gaps. How can you paint a open space if there is nothing to paint on. I have some svg which i printed for the wife which go on a window. Like a stencil. She now wants me to print the same again, but place colour in the gaps. I hope you understand whatvi am asking.

Yes there are 2 main ways to fix it. 1 you can "patch" it with smaller parts like primitives. 2. You could use mesh boolean negative to cut up a primative to fill the gaps. This can be punishing on most computers though. I may release a quick video showing it when I get a chance.

Latest update has "weakened" SVG import. Previously rendered and printed SVGs just cause Bambu Studio to crash. Tried to print "Alice in Borderland; Vol 7" image, and it crashes. Bambu TAC blamed ; 1: Support for SVG. 2. Complexity of file. 3. Hardware 1. Previous printed SVGs will no longer render. 2. N/A 3. While simple SVGs will load, why dont previous rendered and printed SVGs? 4. Bambu blamed it on hardware, but will not tell the CPU, GPU, RAM, etc..limits; nor the file limits (pixel, volume, storage size, etc...) I'm losing hope for Bambu. Could be just their support as with any TAC. But being told "it could be" with no proof or validation is concerning.

Yeah, Simple SVG files work but anything more complex like photos completely fall apart. I got files with a few hundred parts working but even then it was a slog. I am working on a potential fix(in slicer) but it will require a lot of testing. SVG support is extremely new in 3d slicers. (Cura ignores in, Prusa Alpha barely works with simple SVG files. ) I think "Hue Forge" will work better for photos. As you know it is not the hardware of your PC. I cannot verify about different versions of studio not working as I update regularly and my previous files still work. (hello kitty, keychains etc)

Hello, thanks for the question. If you use the "cut" tool on a model you have an option to make pegs to join them back to together. Here are some videos that show the cut tool and your options like, peg, dovetail, snap connectors etc. kzitem.info/news/bejne/mouoqH-GpJxpdn4 or kzitem.info/news/bejne/s3-Im4WgoYOfoHY
