Great idea, thanks for all the helpful videos Mike. I am new to smoking, I just picked up the Pit Boss vertical smoker from Lowe’s a couple weeks ago. I have done ribs, pulled pork and sausages on it so far. Super impressed and can’t wait to try more. Thanks again for all your ideas, knowledge and inspiration!

I like savory flavors so a lot of times I’ll make my own rub with salt pepper garlic dry mustard and paprika. I also really like Heath Riles Garlic Jalepeno rub as a base layer and then top it off with Killer Hogs The BBQ Rub. The best advice I can give when using pellet smokers is to not overdo the rub. Pellet smokers do not put out a strong smoke flavor so a lot of times too much rub will erase any smoke flavor.

here's an idea.... a smoked cheese cake. smoked cheese is great. I think cream cheese would compliment a smoke flavor nicely. cheese cake is cooked in a water bath and at temperatures that could give a nice hint of smoked flavor and end up delicious.

Yes it will. Just set your pellet grill to its lowest setting and give those banana boats as much smoke as you want (I think 45 minutes is plenty). Then turn the grill up to 350 for about 10 minutes or so until the peel turns black and everything is nice and hot

On my pellet grill the lowest temperature is around 180°

That will work just fine. As long as you are getting some good smoke you'll be good.
