I make bananas foster a New Orleans classic dessert. Bananas in a flaming caramel rum sauce. I will also tell you how to make a non alcoholic version. Put it over pancakes or waffles. Makes 4 servings
Things Needed:
4 tbls unsalted butter
4 bananas cut in half and lenthwise
3/4 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 tsp cinnimon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup dark rum
vanilla ice cream
Non Alcoholic version:
Add 2/3 cup of pure maple syrup to your skillet. Or remove browned bananas from skillet add 1/2 cup of pulp free fruit juice put back on stove to heat.
