Thanks for posting this excellent vlog of the Banaue rice terraces. I did this spectacular walk in 2010 with a local who showed me the way. Much easier haha! Then did the Bataad rice terraces and ended up in acute pain in Banaue hospital due to dehydration. Not so pleasant but the hike to the waterfall and back was incredible. I was 58 at the time and trying to beat young twenty year olds back to the top of the climb. I paid for it in pain! Just a great memory now. I certainly recommend Sagada and the magnificent Dumaging Cave.

Hey Brendan, may I suggest getting one of those instax cameras where you can take pictures of the friendly locals and give it to them. A lot of photographers do so when they engage with the local communities and it's a nice way to connect with people and give a piece of memories from when you visited the village etc.

I did that in China, actually. It was great. However, I have wayyyy too much gear right now. If/when I ever travel with a partner it's something I'd like to bring back.

Brendan van Son I understand the comment about your gear, but you could put it in your checked in bag when you travel or give it to the new intern to carry he he. It just came to me when I saw you with the kids you were photographing in the village, I thought they would like a little memento from your visit.

Hi Brendan, Did you have any problem bringing the drone to the Philippines? Do they ask at the airport for a confitmation, license or certification for the drine? Do you need to declare the drone for customs?
@BrendanvanSon

Nope, none at all. Easiest place ever for the drone.

That's so funny when you were that you should have scouted the area with the drone, I literally just got lost the other day at a local land reserve and I found my way out by flying my Mavic all the way up and finding the trail that lead out of the forest hahah. Another perk of having a drone.

Why is the qualtity of the content of this episode so different? Is it the weather? Don't get me wrong, i love watching your stuff and you're doing a great job, but is there a difference or is it just me? :D (Maybe just because you are not shooting arount the "Brendan-Time" - > means sunset/sunrise).
