Thank you for your request. I'm glad you like the sweets! I was very interested in the reaction to this song. I like heavy sound like you and I listen to music of various genres. This song expresses the characteristics of Japanese music easily. In Japanese music, there is a code progression uniquely developed in Japan. In Japan, it is called royal road travel. (royal procession) This code progression is often used in pop music. I think Japanese music is very interesting for people overseas. Thank you! (I am using a translator, so I am sorry if I cannot understand.)

Yeah , Misa , what else could you expect from this girl, she is a monster of composition . She will become an in demand session player ....if she ever gets time away from Band Maid work schedule. She understands the role so well, but knows how to sensibly break boundaries too. Genius!

They seem to masterfully incorporate different genres of music. And time changes all in the same song. Flawlessly delivered by these 5 beautiful amazing musicians. There hasn't been a band. That's come along in decades. That is the complete total package that these ladies are. The quality of the songs , the quality of the delivery and musicianship. As well as being so damn good looking And making it look so easy while doing it !

You guys are right about Misa, she is subtle , but brilliant at the same time as she is so melodic and yet still supports the beat and supports the vocals. An awesome achievement in itself. To me she is reincarnation of John Entwistle from the Who in the way she approaches bass and also her tone. Misa is a bassist people will still talk about even when the band is gone. She is halfway to legendary already.

You talk about Don't Let Me Down being mostly Japanese. It's not. It's entirely in English. Saiki's pronunciation is just a bit off, so it sounds Japanese. They do have a song on the new album that's also entirely in English. "The Dragon Cries" was produced by Tony Visconti though, who clearly helped Saiki, as from the little bits I've heard, it's completely clear.

"Don't let me down" is pretty raunchy, but what most people don't realize is that this song was actually written by a 48 year old dude, Akihito Tokunaga (lyrics & music) The girls didn't get to put their own songs on their albums until "Just Bring It" which was 2 albums after the one this song is on.

no, i think the Queen reference came from the lead guitarist when she said the had Queen in ming when the did the song with the virtual reality gear in it. The riff recalls the style Stone Cold Crazy if you have a listen.

It is a song made at the request of the theme song of the drama (perfect climb). tune was chosen from several demo tunes from Kanami. The lyrics are inspired by the story of the drama. I can understand the visual homage of Freddie Mercury in MV.

@@hopsmetalshow3413 It's a lot less expensive than you'd expect. When I went in April of 2018, the total cost of the trip was about $2700 for two full weeks. That includes splitting the apartment with a friend (if I had rented it myself, would have cost another $405). It also included about $550 for the two-week rail pass since we used the shinkansen 10 of the 14 days we were there. But, that price included airfare, apartment rental, rail pass, a Band-Maid concert, and all the food and spending money I used.

I've discovered Band Maid recently, i'm so impressed! Have you heard Russian metal by far? Check out AYTKACT, their lyrics for Phoenix are beautiful kzitem.info/news/bejne/1Hpol5qFsaZjeYI: This moment is your life, we’re back and we’re alive To tell you the true story of our struggle to survive You disappear like a phoenix burning into dust That fear chasing you, the sense of natural mistrust Let’s play with fire, alright, let’s play one more time I’ve placed a big bet to be crowned with a prime Let the heavens expose all the secrets we hide Let it all, let it fall down Into the void of wasted delights Let it all, let it fall down Hey! It’s high time to arise Our time is fading Throughout these daily wins, disappearing I stay with you When everything is said and finished, you are the right one All my experience, getting up and getting down Let’s play again One cannot return to the past Time disappears, you can’t change it, the veil is cast Our time is fading Throughout these daily wins, disappearing I stay with you I am coping with pain to share self-awareness that I’m rising again! I’m rising again! I can live! Our time is fading Troughout these daily wins Disappearing, i stay with you Time is melting, days will fade away But I will But I will Stay with you!
