The last amazing concert my wife and I went to before this one was NIN. We were wondering how the hell we'd ever follow that up. Band Maid was perfect and right up there in the echelon of greats IMO

Band-Maid are so good right now. Their confidence and enthusiasm have reached new levels. US fans are very lucky to see this version of the band but my optimism says they're going to keep climbing. 😍🎸🎸🎸🥁🎤

I got to see them in Minneapolis---amazing. Phone videos can't do justice to the sound, of course, but it's great that others get these close-in glimpses of the small venue US concerts.

@@andrewwiggin If we had to only see one phase of their journey, , this time is quiet epic, focal, we are fortunate. still small enough for the smaller 1K venues, but at a zenith of creativity and growth. Really would have been nice to see them anytime earlier, but now is so cool. They are on fire!

@@kla4600 It's hit or miss with phones. I used an external mic that can dial in the volume, and this show is my favorite for audio. I fell in love with other videos from the audience, so I figured the more the better. I have a hard time keeping still! But Band-Maid is so amazing live it felt important to share, and try my best to get good sound.

Portland was awesome! I can not say there was a "best" Band-Maid show I have seen personally, but Portland somehow seems to be one of the best. I will say the sound there was very well done. And the Maids never hold back, never....

I live 30 miles out of Portland and could not make this show... sad! Only been a BM fan club member since 2019... But I am massively blessed with these videos you're sharing from that show! Have I just not noticed on previous shows or is this the first where the instruments and Saiki's microphone are 'wireless'??... no cable chasing going on and looks like Miku wandered off into the crowd there for a bit.... World-renowned goddesses of Worldwide Power Rock, although they are a 'genre' by themselves!

They were wireless in Japan in 2022, but used cables when they were in the USA in September 2022. When they came in May 2023 they were wireless. From what I have heard the main consideration was that wireless is just one more thing that can go wrong. They seem to have become OK with it now. And I bet they have a few cables with them, if needed. I am glad you enjoy the recordings, the live recordings from 2019 is what convinced me if their power. A good recording really captures the feel of the band. and though there is nothing like seeing them live, the experience is over that night..... I wanted to be able to relive these precious moments, and share them. This Portland show is the best on this channel I think.

@@Timber1508I shot in 4K. The SE just has a small lens. A 15 minute recording is like 4 gigs! The secret weapon is the mic, AND a brace to hold the phone, so your hand does not interfere with the sound waves.

@@kevinhardy8997It was random that so close the mix was real good. There is so much hit and miss with this. I recorded from the rail in Phoenix last year with an 8 like yours. Miku’s 5150 amp was coming straight off the stage to me. The mix is not balanced, but I just love hearing her so well. Most recordings have a special aspect to them. Something unique, either visually or sonically.
